I agree, if Xbox could stop making Hardware today they would, to be honest they probably should. Just be a publisher and rip the bandaid off and focus on games.

The current state of the industry is so sad, no soul or passion just content delivered to your app of choice...

I miss Peter and the 360 days massively 😞 I don’t feel like there’s any fire or passion from either company these days

Made a start on the interview earlier, Peter is a fantastic guest and I always love seeing him doing interviews as he speaks with so much love and passion about days back then Great interview and I look forward to finishing it off later Great job @vicious696 and @godfree

Just imagine if the current library of games the last few years and what’s coming was strictly Xbox console exclusive. The hardware would be flying off the shelves and millions of copies of the games selling. Xbox put themselves in a corner with day one releases to GP.

He summed it up pretty well. Xbox is playing the long game and yearning for a future where they no longer need to make hardware and the content is delivered and playable directly on your screen of choice. It's all about IP acquisition and sub services for them now.

What a great perspective 👌 even if the hardware coming up next might be their last, I'm excited for it, especially the handheld.

Can I get a link to this whole video so I can watch it please thank you

here ya go

I’ve switched to PC because I see the writing on the wall—Xbox as a hardware platform is on its way out. With Microsoft’s focus shifting towards cloud gaming and multi-platform releases, it’s clear that dedicated Xbox consoles won’t be around forever. Rather than waiting for the inevitable, I’ve moved to a platform with better performance, more customization, and a future that isn’t tied to a single piece of hardware.
