I don't tend to call for people's jobs, but It just feels like a matter of time before he's fired. Jones had an outlier season, and even in that outlier season he only had 3,000 yards and 15 passing touchdowns. That team and subsequent contract that he earned, was on the back of Saquon Barkley and a quality defense. If your goal is to give it to JT 350-400 times and hope your defense plays well, that's fine, your pass game weapons are also better than the Giants were that season. Just don't try to convince fans that Daniel Jones had a great year and they should be expecting high level play. I still believe that with all his faults, continuing to try to develop AR would be the best in the short and long-term for the franchise. This move is to try to save his own job.

Jones threw 15 TD passes in 16 games in 2022. That offense was carried by a generational back in Saquon. Every other year of his career he’s been a loser. Steichen just took Dennis Allen’s spot as my most hated NFL coach. Hope he fails miserably, he deserves to.

I still think he’s elite. I know his production isn’t what it was a year ago, but he’s still a damn good football player. He’s still a threat to break it anytime he touches the ball. Jeff Stoutland is still one of the best oline coaches in all of football in creating good angles and creating space for the backs. They can still run the ball as good as anybody.”

I think in college football we focus a lot on incoming freshman. From there it’s what upperclassman you have coming back for experience. Then we get to the sophomores. I think when talking about the upcoming year, Lander has been flying under the radar. He had a great year last year as a true freshman. He’s now had a full year in a college weight room and will know the defense even better than he did last year. Should be bigger, faster, and stronger. Huge year for #20 incoming. #GoUtes #LanderBarton
