There is something deeply disturbing about hundreds of men dressed in black, many wearing balaclavas, taking it upon themselves to blockade one of Britain's most important ports. The imagery inevitably brings back uncomfortable memories of the Blackshirts, but put that comparison aside for a moment and look simply at what they are actually doing. They are not defending Britain. They are disrupting Britain. They are preventing ordinary British people from going about their business, delaying families travelling, disrupting workers, obstructing freight, damaging trade and interfering with the operation of vital British infrastructure. Whatever your views on immigration, how is deliberately bringing the Port of Dover and the A20 to a standstill supposed to be patriotic? Patriotism is not hiding your face while causing misery for your fellow citizens. Patriotism is not damaging your own country's economy to make a political point. Patriotism is not intimidating people who have absolutely nothing to do with the policy you oppose. People have every right to protest peacefully and every right to demand changes in Government policy. I will defend that right whether I agree with them or not. But there is a substantial difference between protesting against the Government and deliberately disrupting Britain itself. If your actions harm British workers, British businesses, British families and British infrastructure, you cannot simply wrap those actions in the Union Flag and call them patriotism. The flag does not make the behaviour patriotic. The behaviour has to earn that description.

These things cannot be conflated. Just Stop Oil is a brainwashed death cult trying to destroy civilization. Protests against the slaughter in Gaza, the West Bank and now Lebanon, are a direct confrontation with a Zionist government supporting those atrocities. These guys at the port are also in direct confrontation with the government who is waging war against the native British people, so trying to defend their own civilization. I'd call that a prelude to civil war.
