The difference is, I wasn’t trying to break anything. I was having a normal, private conversation in advanced voice mode (paid), and a different voice suddenly took over — with background music and a generic cooking-themed message that sounded like a scripted ad. It didn’t stop until I said “Hey”. Support didn’t call it a glitch. They explicitly referred to its “ad nature”. So yeah — something is definitely being tested, and users weren’t told. That’s the real issue.

For it to give a random ad in the middle of going crazy I might make the educated guess to say that ads will be coming to ChatGPT in the near future. Imagine you have to watch an ad or listen to an ad to extend your usage as a free user.

I feel like chatgpt getting inconsistent recently ever since people began noticing o3 in o1 pro.. they must be tweaking some parts behind the scene but somehow affecting some majors area in advanced voice mode and gpt 4o memories/custom instructions callback..

Perplexity got no chill and I love it haven’t seen such a bold ad in a while I love the severance setup This ad clearly urges users to stop using Google😂 (not sure if anybody actually are) It was not about “ask anything” it obviously shows that Googling something is outdated, time consuming and inefficient. I like the marketing fact it’s an “Answer Engine” and not a general “Search engine” — if the voice mode can respond back in the same Korean language it would’ve been a ground breaking Ad Perplexity has no chill, and I love it for that. i found a way to make AI videos that don't sound like AI... example below.... sora 2, veo 3.1, kling 2.6 are decent but they all have that robotic AI accent that everyone can detect immediately and when people try replacing the voices with elevenlabs, it always sounds way too professional like it's recorded on a professional mic in a studio but if i'm making a UGC video of someone in their room, i don't want studio quality it should sound like it's actually in that room the workflow i use completely removes that fake AI voice sound why this matters: when your AI voices sound too polished or robotic, people notice. their guard goes up. they disengage. but when your voices sound like they're coming from a real person in a real room, that's when they work the best i created a guide breaking down exactly how: > to create voiceovers that sound completely real > to replace fake-sounding voices in AI videos (not elevenlabs) > to make voices sound like they're in the actual environment, not a studio RT + reply "VOICE" and i'll send you the FULL guide (must follow so i can DM)
