I believe John MacArthur's eschatology was spot on. 🎯

1) Great commission All authority in heaven and on earth. Jesus is reigning now. 2) 1 Cor 15:25 (& Psalm 110) He must reign til all enemies are made a footstool. For dyspsy to be correct, the Holy Spirit must fail at His mission. The final coming is a day … not a bunch of nonsense sections of times where Jesus reigns just to be overtaken by the devil; satan is bound now. Christ is King now. 🙏🤓😊

Unfortunately, he mixes Darby-ism with Christ’s second coming. Jesus never said, “I will come again - and again.” Bad eschatology doesn’t mean you are not saved. [W]aiting for our blessed hope, the appearing (not appearings plural) of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ. (Titus 2:13)

His eschatology completely ignores the words of Jesus Christ. Matthew 24. Luke 21. Mark 13. Do we follow Christ or do we follow MacArthur?

There is no pre-tribulation rapture in Revelation. There is no 7-year tribulation in Revelation - there's 3.5 years, and we must suffer through it. He didn't read those dispensationalist ideologies from Revelation

@danmiller73 No such thing as the rapture… it’s a profound error.

Amillennialism or Postmillennial is probably more correct than this view.

Why isn’t a pretrib rapture mentioned in Matthew 24? Jesus never spoke of a secret coming. Comes like lightning. I can go on and on biblically. Ask yourself why the modern, milquetoast Christian deserves to be excused from tribulation while Peter and Paul were not?

Love him. But he was way off on this. He knows the truth now I'm sure 🙃

As we see more and more digital ID implemented, and more and more of our freedoms taken away, hopefully you will recognize the path that the world is heading down. I believe there will eventually be a one world government ruled by the Antichrist.

Spot on for the LEFT BEHIND book series, but not for the Bible. The good news is... he now knows his error.

I am with you 💯 Danny.

RC Sproul, his friend, didn't think so..

His escatology is not historically correct. The Scofield Bible started it in the West. Also, other biblical preachers have shown that it is lacking in biblical backing.

He’s a heretical!

Too bad what he is saying isn’t biblical.

John MacArthur was a false teacher

Not a biblical interpretation. Christ’s coming will be a literal, loud, and world wide event. Not a secret rapture.

The tribulation happens before the rapture. The bible says the day would not come unless the man of sin is revealed. Rapture is after tribulations.

It is crystal clear.

The thing we don’t know is how long a time frame between Rapture and Trib. Some think immediately following others think there’s a pause before Trib. I’ve never found any scripture that specifies a definitive time period. If you know any verses defining this time,I’m interested.

Why would God pull out the church when there is tribulation? The apostles and disciples died for what they believe and weren’t taken away right before things got bad. The Bible clearly states that the false one shows up before Christ returns and will deceive many. The rapture doctrine didn’t show up till the early 1800s and is very unbiblical

Absolutely love John but his eschatology is as far from biblical truth as it gets.. and in that case so is yours.

Only the scofield bible has this version of events. All others only have Jesus coming once. After the tribulation.

And before you post we won’t suffer God’s wrath I’ll point you to Noah - saved from the flood and Israel was divinely protected from plagues. Jesus said we’d experience Satan’s wrath. Even so, I’m more post Trib - pre wrath myself.

He is wrong on all counts!

The best Bible teacher ever. Still learning from him.

Bad theology. False teaching. There is no secret rapture.

I have always been taught, and firmly believe, that the backbone of eschatology is Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21. Everything else molds around these teachings from the Lord's own words.

I disagree, the scripture clearly says not to be alarmed by anyone who says Jesus’s return is imminent, also it speaks of the timing as being after the tribulation of those days. So on those two grounds alone I’d have to question.

They rapture happens at Jesus' return. There's not 2 2nd comings

I don’t and that’s why I left his church. Half of my new Church, including the pastor all left Grace community because of the dispensationalism.

It a single soul in 1800+ years of Christian history believed any of this nonsense until American Protestantism invented it.

I disagree with him on a Pre-trib rapture. And that's fine.
