Sorry, wrong answer, I grew up in Waco and during the time of the standoff I was a taxi driver that drove international and some national news organizations and film crews out there during the siege. The siege was about a show of force because the ATF and FBI botched the Ruby ridge raid and shot a pregnant woman and her baby. Clinton was President and Janet Reno was attorney general. They were a cult David had children with other men's wives and my youngest brother was involved in the methamphetamine trade. Roy Wells was the head of the drug ring at my little brother was a part of and they had cooked dope out ther on the property on occasion. David used to jog everyday and have somewhat of a working relationship with the sheriff who had been out there on several occasions for various reasons. They could have apprehended David without incident during one of those jogs. The government also had surveillance in a house on a property across the road from the compound. David's teaching was apocalyptic teaching that we were in the last days and they were awaiting Christ's imminent return. I agree the race was a cluster f*** and that the FBI started the fires on the windy day that burnt the compound to the ground. Many people prior to that final day were allowed to leave some chose to stay behind. The raid again was a response to send a message to all the other militia around the country. If you're not trying to send a message you don't bring the local news crew with you on the road and that's where we got the footage of the raid and progress. anybody from Waco knows David went into Charlie’s corner from 10:30 to 11:30 on Fridays. He sit with judges and lawyers at the bar. when the standoff happened in Waco, there was a delivery of butane. The FBI could’ve got in that truck because David was the only one sign a ticket
