I blame the dev time & budgets for modern video games & for what’s going on in the industry During the 7th Generation we had • 3 Mass Effect’s • 3 Batman Arkham’s • 3 DeadSpace’s • 3 Bioshock’s • 8 RockstarGames • 2 Fallouts • 2 Elder Scrolls... show more

It's insane to think how we were in the golden years of gaming during that time..now we are lucky to see a sequel in the same generation.

That’s why Claire Obscure is so important. It’s proof this old formula still works.

DEI, outsourcing, and death of waterfall development are to blame

Well, when you have a buncha lazy ass DEI and mandatory hires sitting around and milking the clock, what’d you expect? Oh look, time for another meeting, and order some food. And coffee. Maybe some donuts too.

I blame ideologs inserting themselves into the industry and creating bloated and watered down games in the name of inclusivity and accessibility. Gaming used to be a niche hobby that only enthusiasts were invested in, now its a mainstream money grab and vehicle to push fringe agendas. Good riddance I say

I said it before and I'll keep saying it, 7th gen was the absolute peak in gaming, from 2007-2012 especially with some greatness lingering til about 2015. We genuinely had it so freaking good. I still play games from that era more often than anything released recently.

yeah gotta get the peach fuzz on Aloy just right

Fat lesbians are in charge and they don’t like games. It’s pay back time against all of us healthy normal people. Remember Lara Croft with those epic tits? Now she’s a chunky art history major lecturing us about decolonization. Burn it down. This land is GAMER LAND!

I keep saying 7th gen was the last great gaming generation, and it's not from nostalgia. We had so many big franchises launch and live in that one generation then it would be a decade between next releases. Heck, we had TWO Assassins Creed trilogies on 360 and PS3, AC 1-3 and the Ezio trilogy
