one notable detail from today’s Claude Code leak… > Claude Code has a system that flags when you swear at it > there’s a frustration detection system with profanity filters that can log frustration event flags when users curse in prompts… > it then routes it through Datadog alongside session metadata > so if you cursed at Claude at 2am… it may have registered a signal > the telemetry can be disabled via environment variables… but most of us didn’t even know this existed until today > if you want to turn it off: you can disable telemetry via environment variables in Claude Code’s settings the irony of a “safety first” AI company having this frustration telemetry is well… notable anyway… if you’ve been nice to Claude this whole time… congratulations. you’re in the clear

Today is Asuna's birthday! She shows up without a plan, and somehow things work out. Spend a day with her without meaning to, and by the time you notice, it is already over. Whether it is luck or instinct, the Sensei has probably just stopped wondering and started going along with it. i use one tool that gets me 5x better results from veo 3.1 and hailuo 2.3... if you're not effectively prompting camera motion, you're using these models at 50% capacity casual direction like "zoom in" or "circle around" doesn't work, video models need actual cinematography language: - [truck left, pan right, tracking shot] - [push in, pedestal up] - [dolly back, tilt down] so i built a claude skill that translates for you you describe what you want -> it converts to proper film terminology -> AI executes it way better this was initially made for my team, but i'm sharing it with you guys... reply "angles" + RT and i'll send it over (must be following so i can dm)

my team didn't want me to give this away for free. Pull the other one, I'd love to see their insurance and permit to do this. If it's The River Severn through Shrewsbury it's a “navigable waterway” controlled by the Environment Agency and you need explicit permission to use a jet ski on it. In practice it is almost never granted, is this the Severn?

Sharing some more UI previews for Superlogical, this time the "tab peek." If you three-finger swipe down, you can "peek" at the other session tabs. These are live-updating, metal-rendered previews including splits. If you keep dragging, you enter a "mission control" style mode. This is one of those UI patterns that once you get used to, you mindlessly find yourself doing it ALL THE TIME. It's a great way to quickly take a look at everything thats going on. You aren't reading the mini text of course, but the shape of it tells you a lot about where things are. The peek pushes the terminal down off screen, it doesn't resize it, so it doesn't force any weird reflow or anything either. There's a lot more to talk about, especially about how this interacts with how we expose what needs attention so you can easily find the terminals/sessions/etc. that require your attention. Of course, you'll be able to drive this with the keyboard too. :) As always, a disclaimer: this is all early work subject to change, just trying to share some of what we're building in public. A lot of the UI experiential design is almonk so follow him for more updates too!

where to look: higgs 🎬 “if only i had means, i would be a tarkovsky” one of the sentences i heard most at university film clubs now if you have a solid idea, you can bring it to screen with a single prompt, without allocating a massive budget, with price like a netflix subscription, together with update brought by higgs’s seedance 2.0 there is something i always say “if you build, they will come” meaning if you bring your idea to life, you can get opportunity to work with big budget brands by licensing your ip but like in every field, being early matters here too. 2027 will probably be a period where this is already being showcased on tv. so listen to your feelings and thoughts and try to give them life with higgs (i made video you watched with a single prompt)

Simplicity is at the heart of great software. This is one of the reasons why Claude Code has been sticky for me. As a builder, I love planning and brainstorming, and this is now a key focus of Claude Code. I use Shift + Tab a lot to cycle between brainstorming, planning, and execution. This functionality provides the appropriate interface for me to either be very involved or less involved as I please. This works particularly well when building out new and complex features or entire new projects. This saves a huge amount of time. It allows me to tune Claude Code to execute and build more effectively. It also builds a loop of trust, and I often (surprisingly) find Claude Code asking for clarifications when it's confused. Coding agents don't normally do that. I have shared before on the power of brainstorming with AI for longer times. Try it and you will not be disappointed. Vibe coding is fun, but pair it with intentional development cycles, and you watch how far you can take a project with coding agents today.

I genuinely don't understand why everyone isn't using this yet Andrej Karpathy, a co-founder of OpenAI, posted a simple idea that hit 16 million views: stop using AI to write code, use it to build a second brain. You point Claude Code at a folder, drop in any source, an article, a transcript, a PDF, and Claude reads it, links it, and files it into a living wiki of everything you know. It compounds like interest, the more you feed it, the smarter it gets.
