✨ Added a CRT curvature distortion to pieter™ now It takes the Em-DOSBox and processes it in WebGL and builds a new with the distortion of a classic CRT screen which had this convex curvature (like an old TV) even though the screen itself was square I had this working on DOSBox on MacOS and on Linux with CRT-Pi shader, but on web it doesn't support shaders so I had to build my own with Claude Code in JS, very easy I remember trying this a year ago and Claude Code fucked it up so bad that I gave up, so I think the models have improved a lot Tomorrow I'll try add some scanlines, it really helps make the simulation more passable (and nostalgic!) 😊👌

Had some work in LA, and then I came here. But yesterday, I rode a horse for the first time. So it was an unbelievable experience." "But when I was younger, there used to be a horse that was in a field nearby, just a shy horse. And it was this beautiful horse. It was just on its own every day. So I'd go and stop, and it would come over to me, and I'd spend time [with it]. And then when I'd start walking home, I'd start to notice my allergies started kicking off. And then my breathing, I'd struggle to breathe. And I'd really, really struggle. And I didn't know that I had asthma." "Then I was, I happened to be around another horse another time, and I had an asthma attack. And it was a really scary experience, because I didn't have an inhaler or anything. So anyways, I stayed away from horses since that day. That was when I was probably like 14 or something. And I went through this desensitization program, because my allergies were crazy, particularly for hay fever in the UK. And I didn't think anything of it. I hadn't thought about it. And I did a shoot at the beginning of this year with a horse for the Time 100 magazine. And I took medication, antihistamine. But I was able to be around this horse, no problems. So yesterday, I did a shoot with a horse for Plus 44. And I was like, can I ride it? And I got on. And it was just, wow. It was an amazing experience." "The horse started moving. It took me a couple of months to recover and bring myself back. I guess when you invest so much into something and don’t achieve the result, it’s a very natural reaction. That’s exactly what happened with me. But I also knew that life doesn’t end there. It was a big lesson for me how to deal with disappointment, reset, and start fresh. I knew that something else was coming the 2024 T20 World Cup in the USA and West Indies and I had to shift all my focus towards that. It’s very easy to say this now, but at that moment, it was extremely difficult. At one point, I honestly felt like I didn’t want to play this sport anymore because it had taken everything out of me, and I felt I had nothing left. mingyu talking about their tiny desk concert video 🖤 🐶 i wasn't able to sleep until 5am earlier, i wanted to post the tiny desk video on my ig right away and i feel proud [of what we did] and i was really nervous as well. we were in washington dc for around 5 days and we rehearsed for that to prepare and then filmed, and it wasn't really easy. we really had nothing - there was no audio coming out from the mic and it was just my raw voice. we didn't have any in-ears, we weren't singing over a backing track either but with a live band so i was pretty nervous. so i was contemplating if i should do it or not but i kind of just went for it at the end. it was a good experience and i just went for it thinking, "when will we ever get to do this?" seeing us, seventeen, on npr is so fascinating in itself and i felt very proud of what we achieved that's why i liked it.

‘More Than This’ came right at the end [of the UP album recording] and I’d started a thing with guitar samples. I was mucking around with guitars and Daniel Lanois left his beautiful Telecaster here. I can’t play guitar to save my life but I can make noises on it. I’d always liked it and in fact it was actually driving through the Italian Alps, again it is one of these scenic detours, and I found this old cassette which had this stuff on it where I’d been playing around with a different groove and that started all to make sense to me at that point. - pg More Than This was released as a single on 30 December 2002. Performance filmed in the Big Room at Real World Studios earlier that same year.

So, my son-in-law, Dustin, took me shooting and made this video. I brought my trusty .243 that I have not shot in close to 20 years. Some of the targets I hit with it we estimated to be about 400 yards away. This .243 was given to me when I was a boy, and I've killed all but one of my deer with it. Dustin told me he was going to make a video, but I had no idea it would be so professional and entertaining! Thanks, Dustin!

Here is part 3 of what happened to me: Here is the video of the initial meeting with the Sherrifs. I agree, that's why I left once it was all cleared up by the sheriffs, who were very cool, polite, and respectful. They knew it was BS, but it is private property, and I left shortly after. Funny thing is, I met 2 cool dudes and was chatting about cars. They had no problem and thought it was BS I was getting kicked out for it. She complained to the Sheriff that I was " having issues with people, causing a disturbance, being political, and argumentative with people". I arrived there cool, talking about cars and checking out the scene lol Nothing political at all.
