I built an open-world RPG with Astra using a single prompt. It’s called Morta’s Blade and it’s now live on the App Store. ⚔️ Still feels a little unreal.

Nope, it took me a year to develop 😄 Link below 👇

Absolute bullshit

You’re absolutely right

Love the style! After playing it, my main recommendation is to change the double tap for inventory because it conflicts with the sword.

Thank you so much! Really appreciate you taking the time to play it and give feedback. 🙏🙏

I’d go with a hotbar at the bottom of the screen personally

Wow what mcps, where used to create assets and enviroments? looks quite clean copared to my approaches :D

The NPCs and enemies are entirely hand-drawn.

looks nice, how is this artstyle called?

I’m not sure if there’s an official name for it, but it’s basically hand-drawn 2D sprites in a low-poly 3D world, inspired by old-school RPGs.

People have difficulty reading, I guess

WOW! Looks amazing! 😍 So you built that in 2 days since Astra is rolled out AND already got it in the app store? What sorcery did you summon to be that fast?? 😃

Awesome work dude

hahaha you got me. I was telling my self: Wait... but this is stuff from a few synty packs. Nice job btw!

How did you wrap it to make it run in IOS? Which api or tool? Congrats on 🚢 shipping

I built it in Xcode using SceneKit and Metal. I also developed a custom optimization technique to keep the entire open world seamless, with no loading screens. It’s still not perfect since I’m developing it entirely on my own, but I’m trying my best.

So you got the agent to assist you in building an Xcode version with Scenekit? Cheers

I actually used Codex for most of the development. I built it in Xcode with SceneKit, and it made more sense to me to build the physics and character controller from scratch to get that old-school Doom-style feel.

the art style is fantastic ngl

Cool work!

Just bait to advertise?

You're such a cool internet game dev guy. Well done on being so cool.

It’s a playable 3d world but I wouldn’t really call that a game

Dude, the game has 10 different enemy types, 57 side quests on top of the main questline, and multiple biomes including desert, swamp, forest, and snowy regions. I spent a whole year making this. You hurt me, man. 😭

How’d you spend a year if it was a single prompt? You’re just trolling for engagement

An indie dev doing silly marketing to get people to notice his game? Unheard of 😭 I literally said in the first reply that it took me a year to make.

This looks incredible.might be the first AI game I actually wanna play

Great 👍🏻

Top tier bait if I’ve ever seen it bro! Great work btw

Nice work, Fatih. Looks like a lot of fun. Congrats with it all!👌

Stop the cap

Hey this is really cool, hope next time you are building some VR game as well using the apple's native framework!

Hard to believe that you got approved by Apple so fast, since Astra is only live since Thursday/Friday only… Nevertheless it looks nice

I was about to say how quickly does apple approve your apps 😂 also you can see the human touch which is insane. This looks great, will give it a try

full rpg from one prompt fr?

Good job although most people never read your reply clarifying that it took over a year to build and sounds like you might be missing out on potential fan base

fuck you scammer

Is it a spectacular game?

That is amazing, imagine what you could have done with 2 prompts!

Hope we stop this “Indid this with Astra” engagement baiting sooner rather than later. It’s so dumb.

An open-world RPG from one prompt, and it's live on the App Store. The "still feels a little unreal" is the honest part. Congrats 🗡️ how long from the prompt to approval?

No way u build this by a prompt, it doesnt look like n64 demo

Y de dónde sacó los modelos 3d y demás? Puedes ser un poco sincero?

Nobody wants to play a game made in a single prompt. Keep that in mind

I’m confused. You built it in 1 prompt or you took a year to develop? Is this a bit?

building an RPG from a single prompt is impressive, congrats on Morta's Blade!
