This picture inspired me to do the same thing when I ran across it years ago, I built many experiments trying different plants and containers eventually making a version in memorial to my dear cousin Eric who passed away, and it's still doing great to this day. I even made a small business making them as memorial pieces for lost loved ones, here is a video from that experience from about 10 years ago...
