I can confirm that Walmart is now using drones to deliver items directly to front yards here in North Carolina. Currently they are only available with certain Walmart locations and you need to live within 6-8 miles a store that offers drone delivery. The order has to be 2.1...

PSA: One company on earth makes a car that can drive itself anywhere. There is only one company that makes the product that allowed me to film this self driving video, 50 miles north of the middle of nowhere. It is like magic. I think it’s about to be the biggest tech innovation of any kind since the internet. They currently cost less than 40k in the USA. Pretty wild stuff. You should check it out.

Americans buy 25% of their groceries at Walmart but the idea that Walmart has the lowest prices because of purchasing power, might only be partially true. According to a recent, unsealed federal lawsuit, Walmart used its status as best customer to influence Pepsi into surveilling and forcing Walmart competitors to RAISE their prices so that it was impossible for them to sell Pepsi for less than Walmart did. "It's hard to imagine that Pepsi is the only major supplier Walmart has this arrangement with." Is it legal? Not at all. But our government turned a blind eye to it. One man, who spoke with the Dallas Observer, says the drones are flying over his house throughout the day, calling the high-pitched noise "annoying." He did admit, however, that he has used the delivery service, calling it "pretty cool." The drones can carry packages up to 5 pounds and can deliver them to locations within about an 8-mile radius of the Richardson Amazon facility. Prime members pay just $4.99 for the deliveries, which can arrive in about 30 minutes.

Both have the water drained out of them One of the cans has a significant amount less of crushed pineapple compared to the other. The one that has more is from 8 months ago This isn’t Shrinkflation, this is fraud. Every time the customer orders something and the delivery guy has to deliver it to their home. They call and complain that their driveway is private property and that they shouldn’t be using it even to deliver their mail or packages and pizza. This delivery man is fed up with the unreasonable complaints so if the homeowner doesn’t want him on the property, he is going to leave their packages on the curb on the public street from now on. Is he being reasonable or is he using malicious compliance in this case?

Walmart came in cheapest at just $5.28, Target was $5.57, Aldi $5.89, and surprisingly Dollar General was the most expensive at $6.10. I wonder if a lot of people don't realize that many Great Value brand items at Walmart are actually made by the same manufacturers behind popular name-brand products — like their sandwich bread from Sara Lee. And this is actually true for most if not all major stores — their store-brand items are often made by the same companies that produce the name brands right next to them on the shelf. It really shows that choosing budget-friendly options doesn’t mean settling for less quality. But the bigger message is this, we don’t always know what someone else is dealing with — their budget, their location, their transportation, or what’s even available within miles of home. For some families, that corner store or budget brand is the only realistic option.
