I can't understand what's the obsession of Pakistani players and fans for handshakes and playing bilateral series? However, the trophy has not arrived yet, so everyone, including the BCCI, is eagerly waiting. In both the informal and formal board meetings, I was present, and the PCB chairperson, Mr. Naqvi, was also there. But during the formal meeting, this matter was not on the agenda. However, the ICC facilitated a separate meeting between the PCB chief and myself in the presence of a senior ICC official. It was a positive step to begin the negotiation process. Both sides participated cordially in the meeting held on the sidelines of the board meeting. I am sure that both sides will work out a solution to this issue at the earliest possible time."
