The movie is not without its issues (even though I never mind it), but this scene is one of the best scenes in the entire movie line up. This realistic moment with Squidward saying how much he cared for SpongeBob was so heartwarming

This moment was honestly so well done. What people don’t realize is that Stephen Hillenburg was still involved in the film yo to the day he died, and the main story was confirmed to have been mapped out by then. So, he knew about this.

Its a good movie, but this scene would have hit so much harder emotionally if it made actual callbacks to the show instead of being used as a forced way to introduce Kamp Koral

I’ve watched it and I actually enjoyed it in fact I enjoy all of the THEATRICAL SpongeBob films. We don’t talk about the sandy movie. And I mean the plankton movie was alright

It's weird, I thought camp coral was gonna be voiced by the kids too, maybe as a way to give tom kenny and them a little break or something, but it's still tom kenny and everyone else so what was the point, i would've preferred if it was like how they shown in this movie

these scenes clearly were shoehorned in to promote the show and try to create a forced emotional reaction out of the audience...show spongebob being kind to squidward earlier in the movie that would be an emotional payoff not some random flashback the audience doesn't gaf about
