I don't think we are squabbling about whether climate change is real. The only denial I see is from people like you who are arguing with nobody that there are deniers. What is not agreed on is how much our impact is and what to do about it. LA fires are maybe 2% climate change

I've seen reports of disastrous weather events around the globe my entire 60+ years. Too often they involve other meddling by us, like building where we shouldn't or suppressing fires to the point where the fuel that they would naturally eliminate periodically builds up too much.

When will politicians grasp the simple fact that dealing with climate change will cost us a great deal less than ignoring it ?
