I cannot emphasize enough that the reason Trump has gone balls out to destroy science and medicine is the living Antichrist Peter Thiel, seen here in his regulation Himmler haircut. He says science is “exhausted” & proposes something more Christian—like Russian Cosmism.

@Metamaterealis1 Hmm, what I got out of Thiel’s blah blah is that he thinks science is now a dead end because Soviets wanted to create a legion of zombies but it didn’t work out, ergo let’s throw the tired-science-baby out with the bath water & replace it all with supernatural doodads. Got it.

I think what he's saying is that russian cosmism IS science like it used to be-bold and heroic. He, of course, does not have a science background and seems to be confused about what science is.

It’s so obvious that the play here is to make everyone not super rich dumber. The dumber they are the easier it is to control and abuse them.

Unfortunately, we live in a hero worship society. I wish people would understand, that just because someone was ‘successful’ in their chosen profession, it doesn’t mean they aren’t looney tunes crazy, wrt everything else they talk about.
