I can’t believe he made it. Wow.

Impressive! 😬

Awesome. Now, can we ask why he is not representing America? His father is an American. He was born and raised here. How is this any different than a protester waiving a foreign flag? Sure one may be more direct but subtly choosing another country over your own still sends an unpatriotic message.

Thanks.

Armand Duplantis has the world record 6,30 meters. The record was set 15 sep 2025 in Tokyo. Born in Louisiana. American father and Swedish mother. Named the world’s best athlete in 2025.

That was amazing!

He’s broken his own world record, 14 times since 2020

it almost looks like AI...incredible athlete

As a former pole vaulter, that fall back to the mat after clearing the bar is the best feeling!

That's Trump in 2021 until November 2024

With my luck, I’d impale myself with the pole on the way down.

I would have an absolute panic attack, thinking I'm going to get stuck by that stick. That is the only reason I would not do it, has nothing to do with me being an old man

Where did this sport come from? Knights breaching a castle wall? It’s just so strange

Can't they have longer poles?

Good grief 👏👏👏👍

That is outrageous! One of the greatest athletics feats ever.

seriously? never saw that coming honestly

Fantastic

Holy crap! 😲😲👍🏻

Wow!

The flying noodle 😂

Ce short, au ralenti démontre toute la performance inégalée, de cet athlete. Chapeau.

That’s Armand Duplantis 💪🏻 His dad’s Greg Duplantis from Louisiana. Armand represents Sweden.

The true spirit of the soul of mankind, reaching beyond where we should be able to go

@grok what is the world record polevault height for men in feet and inches?

In 65 years of watching all sports, this is the closest I’ve seen to perfection

Amazing…how he has to push himself up higher off the pole to clear the bar

Wat een prachtig atleet.

Golden Rams!

Whoa!! 😮

Incredible

@pierpi13 😲

wow

Wow!! What a stud!!

Wow

Wow

The vault is arguably the most athletically demanding track & field event of all requiring multiple skills in the endeavor.
