I can’t count the times I’ve been told that AVs will *never* be able to handle certain situations. How about taking a passenger through North Beach on St. Patrick’s day? Absolutely wild. Thanks to this driverless @Cruise AV (named Twin Peaks) for the clip.

@Cruise So I was there that night and saw a pretty different reality. AVs backed up for a block. Jerking back and forth and not being able to drive. Eventually stopping dead in the street and blocking traffic for blocks until a tech came and handled it manually but go off king 😂😂

@Cruise Any insight into its waiting logic? It seems like it has a certain amount of time it's super forgiving and once that timer is up, it decided "aight I need to push through here" Looks great.

@Cruise I was there that night too! St Patrick’s Day in North Beach SF. This is what I saw, a bunch of pissed off Gen Zs kicking and trying to lift a Cruise out of the way when it decided to stop in the middle of a one lane, one way street 😂
