After hearing about this film and the tragedy behind it, I started doing intensive research on the Sewol Ferry Tragedy. And I my heart sank immediately. The amount of negligence behind all of it…it just adds to the tragedy of this story. It’s heartbreaking.

i read up on it too and the whole thing is devastating and the negligence behind it, horrifying:( also it kinda blew my mind how the film never explicitly references the incident but it lurks like a ghost throughout, like it colours every bit of the story, every little detail...
