President Russell M. Nelson Russell M. Nelson of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints dedicated the Deseret Peak Utah Temple on Sunday, November 10, 2024. This temple is southwest of Salt Lake City in Tooele, Utah, and is now the 200th operating temple for the Church of Jesus Christ. The 100th house of the Lord was dedicated in 2000. Now 24 years later, there are 367 temples in operation, under construction or announced around the world. Read more here:

I believe President Oaks has had this shift in mind for some time. Here's a quote from May 2024. "It's a lot easier to build temples than it is to fill temples. By building a lot of temples, we are writing for ourself a requirement that we be more diligent in teaching the doctrine of the church, ... the temple covenants and worthiness, So that we'll be able to fill temples in all these places where we're building them, instead of just building them."

Archaeological Survey of India Archaeological Survey of India has banned Hindus from worshipping Shivling at Ghara Puri/ Elephanta caves. A large number of guards have been deployed to prevent Hindus from offering prayers. However we have performed jal abhishek of two Shivling at this ancient temple and will do it again. Banning worship at Hindu temples is a regressive jihadi mindset and is against the Indian constitution. We will restart worship at all such temples. Follow Reclaim Temples

We call ourselves a secular country but actually we are not one, because most of the Hindu Temples are in the hands of the government, run by government clerks, and being systematically ruined. There is no Sanctity to a Temple without the hands of Devotees upon them. One of the most important priorities of the new government should be to hand over the administration of Hindu Temples to the Hindus. This is a National scourge to be addressed. -Sg #FreeHinduTemples #GeneralElections2024

Today we will meet with media from throughout California and guide them through the recently renovated San Diego California Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Soon, thousands will walk through the doors of the temple during an open house as we prepare for the August 23 rededication. It is an amazing blessing to see the Lord’s temples dotting the earth. I love the house of the Lord.

The First Temple was destroyed by the Babylonians in 423 BCE; the Second Temple was destroyed by the Romans in 69 CE. All that remains of the Holy Temple is the Western Wall.
