I can't use rewind features on emulators because all I can imagine in my head while doing so is that one clip of Mevans trying to play Lost Levels and feel shame

I think it's fine to use save states, being able to save anywhere in old games is a nice qol thing, but rewind feels like it's made exclusively for savescumming in mind and using it is a little cheap

i CAN use rewind features on emulators because i refuse to engage with the gambling minigames in zelda

I don't know why people do this to themselves, they rewind and save state their way to places they're not good enough to handle then 70% of playtime is them rewinding and trying to bruteforce their way through a game they suck at. If you want to cheat so badly add infinite lives.
