This movie was horribly written. They threw out/ignored several seasons of character development and worldbuilding just to get some cheap drama and a climax. They especially did Twilight dirty, the way she acts, especially in this scene, is COMPLETELY out of character for her.

This scene right here was shocking and saddening for sure. But credit to Spike for actually staying by Twilight’s side though.

The worst part of the movie and aswell getting them to make a distraction via the musical score while she try to steal the orb! I know she was desperate to saved everypony but still, it was so very OoC for her to act and says like that??!!

Naw she earned a crash out. Too many pony fans think friendship is "Never Fight Ever."
