I actually grew up in an Atheist home and I was told not to question science or the belief that there is no God. I had many questions and I was encouraged not to ask them. That doesn’t sound like critical thinking or free thinking. Search for the truth yourself to be sure of what you believe. When my Canadian friends visited City of Santa Monica last year, I was with them at the FairmontHotels pool when a homeless man stripped naked, used the pool as a bathtub, terrorized guests, and ran off with hotel towels. Hongjoong☹️why so cute😭 🐿 Let’s wrap things up - actually, I looked at fromm a little before sleeping yesterday, and I realized you were more upset than I expected about the hongsam chant. So as long as we don’t make it too long - let’s please do the chant. I really wanted to make that clear. 🐿️ What I felt while reading fromm yesterday is that it’s not that I don’t think of hongsamies as special or that I don’t cherish you. It’s not that I don’t want to take care of your feelings or show how precious you are to me. Honestly, more than anyone else, in my heart I take care of you the most. Even when I go to big award shows, I want my name to stand out - I really cherish and love our hongsamies so much. But somehow it felt a little embarrassing/shy like doing “our own thing” together every single time felt slightly shy for me - that’s why I hesitated before. But after reading fromm yesterday, I kind of completed that feeling in my heart. That said, no one threatened me or said anything bad - not at all. I read everything with a comfortable heart (without any pressure), but still, that’s how I ended up feeling.

🐈 Actually, even if I were to quit this someday, I think that would be the biggest reason. The reason I can’t quit this job is because, first of all, I’m not alone anymore. When I debuted, I was by myself, but now I have all of you. So even if one day I start to dislike this work and it gets really hard, that’s why it feels a bit scary. It’s frightening. Because these relationships have become so deep. For me, those 7 years passed by so incredibly fast, right? But I don’t think the time ahead will pass slowly. It’ll probably fly by just as quickly. At that point, the situation might change, my feelings might change, and there might really come a day when I want to stop. In those moments, I think I’ll be very conflicted. That’s why I want to keep doing this for a really, really long time.. healthily, smiling, together with the people I love. Someday we’ll all become grandpas and grandmas, right? 🩷 : I bought a self-improvement book about how to get better at talking to people. I’m really not good at making conversation, especially with people I’m not close to. The version of me around my friends and my fans is exactly the same, but when I’m around other people, I’m actually not very good at making conversation. I was talking with my friends about a conversation I had with a celebrity I follow on social media, even though we’re not close. My friend was like, “Why didn’t you keep the conversation going?” and I replied, “Wait, really? I supposed to do that right?” It probably makes me seem stuck-up, but honestly, I’m just scared. I keep worrying, “What if they don’t want to talk to me?” So I don’t dare to start a conversation or say too much. But my friend told me, 'Just go for it! You never know if they want to talk to you or not. Sure, it might feel a little awkward or funny if it turns out they don't want to talk with you, but that's how you get closer to people.'
