I challenge my colleagues calling for more cuts to show your math. Explain what you would sacrifice — and to what end. I refuse to ask families to trade their safety and quality of life for a few dollars of short-term savings.

You are incompetent or a liar or both. City of Calgary is bloated with countless DEI positions that do nothing in delivering services to Calgarians. I can show you math to millions in savings easily. If you want to be honest then I challenge you to open up City of Calgary financials and operations to an audit.

The electric buses, Cut them. We can look at Edmonton and see how poorly they performed there. With our cold winters the buses can't make it through a whole day. That's millions in savings right there.

1) Cut all taxpayer funded astroturf groups that are doing the "narrative shaping" on behalf of City Admin. 2) Cut everything circled below. This needs to be a budget of keeping the lights on. No more aspirational resume building pet projects on the backs of taxpayers. #yyccc

How about let's cut snow removal on Bike Laines, Cut your security staff in half, cut council bonuses. How about the wasted billions on Electric Buses? The list goes on of useless spending.
