The S&P 500 has spent the last month convincing everyone that nothing can kill this rally. I think that's exactly what makes this setup so dangerous. I was bullish when $SPY was at 710. I was screaming to buy the dip in the 720s. I rode the move to my 780 target. What I'm seeing right now is NOT what I was seeing then. Something has changed. 🐿️ Since I’m right next to them (members) watching all the members prepare, one thing I felt while watching this promotion period is that I think the members have always been like this. I mean, when it comes to the part each person is given - the part where they’re the main focus - I think they’ve always worked incredibly hard to make that part look as attractive as possible. And what made me happy this time was that a lot of people came to realize that. That’s what made me happy, nothing else. In the end, it’s the same for the other members and for me as well, but when I looked at the process Sanie went through and the effort he put into preparing, I don’t think it was luck at all. I watched the various steps that went into creating that part, and since I was beside him through all of it, what I felt was not, “He was just lucky,” but rather, “People recognized the parts he had thought so much about (and put effort into it).” That’s why it made me happy. If, during the process of preparing, we hadn’t actually gone through all of that - if there hadn’t been that history behind it - I think I would’ve genuinely been like, “What are we supposed to do?” If I’d thought, “This isn’t what we intended… From what I see, this is completely… (??),” then I think I would’ve been worried. But there definitely was effort put into creating it. I know that the other members are constantly making those kinds of efforts too. I know it, and I’ll keep doing that as well. Of course, it’s also true that this opportunity became even more of a stimulus/inspiration for me and gave me motivation to work harder. John McTiernan on how he learnt moviemaking by watching 'Day for Night' (1972): "I remember when I decided that that's what I was going to do. I went about it like it was reverse engineering. I knew that I had to go and learn what a movie was, not just my experience of going and watching a movie. So I went and sat in Truffaut's Day for Night (1972), watched it for three days straight, eight hours at a time and memorized it shot-for-shot. I got past the story, all the original and secondary experience, so I could study what it was that I was really watching. Film is really sort of a chain that's really linear. Yet when it's all strung together, it just sort of feels like an experience. It takes quite a while to be able to deconstruct that experience to figure out what you really saw." This was one of the first songs that was written for the album with Jackson Phillips, who produced a lot of it. At the start, candidly, I'd just write and see what intuitively would come out. I wrote the first verse on my birthday. One of my best friends gave me a painting and it said "Sun behind the sun." I thought that was beautiful, so I based the whole verse around that. We had a few versions of that song in particular and it was missing a part for me. One day, I sat outside and the whole chorus came to me. It became like the conversations that you still have after someone or something has passed. It becomes a form of communicating still. As I get older, it goes all the way back to square one simplicity for me. What do I love? Who do I love? What do I cherish? Who do I cherish? It's that simple for me. This is I Wanted To Stay #ORDERchaosORDER
