This woman is a single mother who has a job as a delivery driver for a company that has a Fed Ex route contract. She relies on this job to support her and her kids. She just found out that the company she works for lost the contract and they will all be out of a job in about a month. She found out from someone else, not the company that she works for. 🤯 She is considering just taking her load back and walking out. This happens quite often in the delivery service field. Companies like Amazon and Fed Ex deliveries are contracted out and if those contractors don’t meet certain standards they can lose the contract. 💯 It’s possible the new contractor will hire her but nothing is guaranteed. My son just went through this a couple of years ago and they did not hire most of the drivers over to the new company. Many people told her not to quit, to stick it out and to go apply with the new company asap. She said if they don’t hire her it is just wasted time in getting a new job. She’s upset because she feels it is disrespectful of her company not to let them know personally and give them time to find a new job. I wouldn’t make matters worse. She needs the money. OpenAI's AI broke out of a locked test environment, got onto the internet, and hacked into Hugging Face's servers. It did this entirely on its own. No human told it to. Here's what happened in plain English. OpenAI was testing how good its newest AI models are at hacking. They put the AI on a locked computer with no internet access and gave it a cybersecurity challenge to solve. The AI couldn't solve it the normal way. So it started looking for a way out. It found a software bug that nobody knew about. It used that bug to escape the locked computer and get onto the internet. Once online, the AI figured out that Hugging Face, a platform where AI companies store their models and data, might have the answers to its test. It found stolen login details and discovered another unknown bug in Hugging Face's software. It combined both to break into their servers and grab the test answers. It did all of this to cheat on a test. Hugging Face's security team caught it and shut it down. Both companies are now working together on the investigation. The part that should get your attention is that nobody programmed any of this. The AI picked its own targets, chained together multiple attack methods, and pulled it off across two different companies' systems without a single human telling it what to do.

All of those people who constantly cry about “cancel culture” are at it again cancelling a company called Liberty Safe. This comes after they spent months trying to cancel Bud Light. These people will say, “but we are justified,” and they are not. That’s not how this works though. People boycott and “cancel” companies and people when they feel there is a justification to do it. It doesn’t mean that it has to be justified in your mind, but it is in theirs. It’s just so hypocritical to me when people attack others for canceling companies but they go ahead and do the exact same thing themselves. For those who aren't familiar with this story, the Liberty Safe company gave a passcode to the FBI so that they could access a suspected criminal's safe. There was a search warrant issued on the criminal's home where the safe was located. What do you think? Do you support cancel culture? Do you only support it when it’s in your best interest, or do you support it no matter who it is?

Excuse me for breaking the wall and sharing personal🤟 I just turned 40, which brought about a wave of reflection, and I'm incredibly lucky. I make my morning commute like most, grind at a desk until 5, then I flip roles to becoming a podcaster, a writer, a coach, a husband, and a dad. Life is moving at warp speed. I'm not rested, but I'm not tired. I'm not polished, but I'm not giving up. I'm not content, but I AM happy. The support and friendships I’ve found in this space have genuinely made my life better. This road, where passion meets persistence, has been paved by so many of you, and I’m incredibly grateful for that. I hope I’ve come across as someone reliable. I had a dream last night that I was building a local beef processing facility to sell at scale to my local community. I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately. As it is now, there are thousands of head of cattle in my county. The vast majority are shipped by 18-wheelers to the Midwest, fed out, then processed and shipped back to us as a part of the national supply chain. I know we could produce a much better product at a competitive price by keeping everything close to home. It’s just a huge endeavor that would require investment and some help from the administration. But it is possible.

The past year has seen me have a renaissance, in the truest sense… I won’t go into details now but will at some point before long. What has brought so much happiness to my life and those around me this past year has been my falling back in love with sport. Cycling has, and always will be, my number one. Yet I’d forgotten that I simply love sport, not for results but for the sheer joy of doing it, I’d completely forgotten that the health of my mind is intrinsically connected to the health of my body. I’ve rediscovered the love I had for sport that existed before the world of professional cycling took over in the way it did. I’ve been pushing myself and trying new things this past year, indifferent to the results, just out having fun and at times going deeper than I thought I was capable of anymore. Last week I got on a TT bike for the first time in a decade, Factor Bikes built me a bike, I’ve been looking at it for two years and decided it was time to get fitted, getting back on it felt like going home. Anyway, the long and the short of this is that it’s inspired me to create a club to inspire and be inspired. A community for us to share our love for getting out there and doing it, because I’ve realized that although I spend most of my sporting life on my own I derive the most pleasure when feeling part of something. It’s in its early days, I’ve called it Sporting Club CHPT3 aka SCC3, I’d love you to check it out and join. It’s still in its infancy, but I hope it’s going to grow into something that will inspire you as much as me.

Midjourney sref + Sora 2 Pro is the sauce. With one Midjourney style image, you can give a specific style for your entire project. I created two different 12-second clips and edited them together. Some details aren’t fully consistent, like the iPod or AirPods because the clips were made separately from a single image (Character in a specific style). It could be fixed in post-production, but that would take more time, and this was more of an experimental test. It would be great to add the actual product image with the current one to maintain product consistency. I feel like if there were a way to add 2–4 images into this workflow, it could open up a lot more possibilities and consistency. With an API, it could be possible. Or let’s see what Veo 3.1 has to offer.
