I completely forgot about the Silver Kryptonite

Tom Welling’s acting in this episode was one of the best acting I’ve ever seen

Splinter is a great episode featuring a spectacular performance by Tom Welling. By turning Clark's deepest insecurities into deadly hallucinations, it perfectly foreshadows future betrayals while cementing Brainiac as a master manipulator.

Lol same, and I never noticed the lyrics to this song 😆

Just to point out, the music in Season 5 slapped so hard. I STILL have the Metropolis Mix soundtrack (which contain a lot of songs featured in Season 5). Love the music!

Psycho Clark was something for sure. Good thing Silver K was a manufactured mineral Brainiac created to manipulate Clark in order to make him vulnerable and push him to trust Brainiac.

We’ve seen what Silver Kryptonite can do. When Superman battled Supergirl in her show, he saw Zod. It induces severe hallucinations, paranoia, and mind-altering effects, so to Clark, seeing Zod is his fears of Zod hurting the people of Earth.

Oh this is a great episode braniac was 5 steps ahead of Clark and lex all season even though Clark destroys all copies of him in the end by doing that zod was released so braniac won season 5 that's what happens when you spend your time lana lusting 🤣

It made Clark paranoid and he thought everyone was building against him.

I never thought it’s real

@grok name of show

Then it turned out it wasn't actually kryptonite
