This is it! . 1 year ago today, I walked off the mound for the last time! . It took everything in my power not to cry immediately while leaving the field. My wave to the crowd was to my family. All 15 of them. I wanted them all there to experience it with me. When I looked up in to the crowd, and saw the excitement of my sons, parents, sisters and their husbands, my nieces and nephews…it was everything I could have ever wanted to end my career! . I got to rewrite my storybook finish! . Thank you Port Dover, Team Ontario, Team Canada, University of Notre Dame, Canisius College, Brantford Red Sox and the WMBL for molding me. The Yankees for being the only team to give me a shot in pro ball back in 2007…and promptly releasing me…ha! An enormous amount of thanks and gratitude to the Brewers for giving me a second chance, and the amazing people in that organization that stuck with me and helped launch my career. Milwaukee is always in my heart. Thank you to the wonderful organizations in St. Louis, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Colorado, and Los Angeles. Every one was an incredible stop along this journey. I will love Oakland and feel at home there forever. And as a Canadian kid, growing up a fan of the Blue Jays, it will always be surreal to me that I got suit up in that uniform and pitch for my hometown team. My love of Major League baseball started in Toronto…and will continue there for the rest of my life! . Thank you to all the fans, every coach, teammate, trainer, front office staff, clubhouse worker, therapist, friend, and everyone along the way. Your impact was immeasurable. . Thank you to my agent Danny Horwits and everyone at BHSC…instead of just being my agent you were my friend and a part of my family. . Lastly, I wouldn’t have had the career I did without my family and their continuous support. To my parents, Brian and Vera…thank you for everything. My sisters Marsha, Michelle, and Theresa, your sacrifices didn’t go unnoticed. I love you all immensely. And, of course, my sons JB and Jameson… I’m so happy I got share part this journey with you both. And even happier to move on to your journeys next! I love you both forever. . That is it! . I just got barred tonight from my local pub for standing up to the gardai last week (they pushed me first I responded with equal force) I was told because of my performance on the bridge (nothing to do with the pub) that they refused to serve me there any more Six years fighting for you all destroying my own life and my families life What for nobody gives a shit about me or my family Nights like this I doubt myself putting my family in danger for you all Standing against everything I loved including my own veterans in my family to keep my oath who were to cowardly to even hear me out never mind stand with me Standing against veterans and soldier that are friends to protect this country and to be honest I’ve been treated like s**t by everyone many veterans who I explained uwhat was coming asked them to stand with me to be told no they have their own problem Abandoning their oath as far as I’m concerned What the f**k am I fighting for ye all to be ridiculed by everyone and left to stand alone The first time they attacked our civilians under drew harris that week I stopped a squad car in town after my family begged me not to go to the cop shop that day I asked could I ask them two questions they said of course so I asked Why they were trampling our people into the ground They pulled up the window and drove off, drove off after the first question about attacking our people So I stood in the road and shouted the question about our flag Three of them came back one with handcuffs already in hand to arrest me one squared up to me forehead to forehead wanting me to rise and fight them I didn’t back down and walked home that night too Last week on the bridge I asked the Same questions angrily yes at this stage I’ve had enough of seeing traitors betray us and trample our flag into the ground after the row one gardai said in my ear that they they know who I am and where I live and he would be coming to get me after this (I’d be disappointed if they didn’t after I took them on streets the first time drew harris trampled our people and flag into the ground) the next morning I walked into my kitchen to find them outside my house looking at my the cars at my house Trying to intimidate me when I came out the door they drove away They won’t intimidate me or stop me standing by my oath This evening I brought a friend of mine to our local pub for his birthday with his daughter and family Last year he got alzheimer's I bring him out with his daughter often for a coffee or a break from the nursing home tonight we brought him out for his birthday just for an hour or two When my wife and his daughter brought him back I was told I wasn’t welcome anymore Im sick of it sick of everything It’s not just gardai with intimidation my children have been followed by one of our local politicians lackies not just locally but to other counties where they were with friend sim the middle of nowhere The idiot used to have the politicians face on his van when helping out during elections (dara callery) I’m done been nice and I’m done being intimidated And as for the group of veterans that did add me one the face of the defence forces and made one of the videos I shared I trust nobody anymore Either step the f**k up and speak out or take your shot at me I don’t care how many are in the pack because I won’t be a martyr for anyone that’s a promise The video ye shared about custard had my family name made to share lads as I was told Yet I was the only one to share it Sorry for the rant people but I’m not playing games anymore and I won’t allow myself or my family to be threatened or intimidated The videos below is me making muppet of myself on the bridge And one of my videos in the end of it The other wasn’t made by me Anyone who has followed me a knows I swore to be the first veteran to step into battle for ye all I’ve just had my second back surgery what’s the rest of your veterans excuse

A message for my TikTok family: In case we lose Tiktok I want to thank you for creating a space that provided me the freedom to be myself. Before this, I was modeling professionally full time and although that was incredible and elevated me from my very humble beginnings in life, I didn’t have the freedom to be myself. How I looked, what I wore and what weight/size I had to maintain was not up to me. Because of you, I was able to prioritize social media, which gave me the freedom to be creative and do what I wanted without compromising a paycheck. It’s afforded me the opportunity to create content that I had creative freedom over. It gave me opportunities that led to collaborations with high profile brands like ESPN, BMW, Coach, Netflix, Mastercard, LG and the list goes on and on. It’s blessed me with being on billboards with my own name on my videos. As a model, you don’t get credited for your work. I was on TV, magazines, print ads and billboards more times than I can count but for the first time in my life, my name was with my image because I wasn’t just a model anymore, I was me. It gave me an identity of my own, not who they dressed me up as that day. When my mom passed away I was completely lost, and that’s when I found you. I had about 800 followers at the time and less than 2 years later there’s 1.2 Million of you on Tiktok alone. I can’t thank you enough for supporting me thru this journey and I look forward to what the future holds. I know this feels like the end of the world for some, but take it from someone who’s already experienced the worst thing that can happen to them.. we will be ok no matter what the outcome is. Accepting the things we can’t control and moving forward despite the setbacks will only make us better. And if we are blessed with being able to keep Tiktok, well we will be that much more grateful. I hope we can connect on other platforms because the thought of losing our community hurts my soul. I love you all with all of my heart and will always stay strong for you, I ask that you do the same. Thank you for getting me thru the most difficult time in my life. Cheers to whatever’s next 🙏🤗🥂

What a beautiful, laid-back year. I worked and rested in equal measure, I laughed hard and loved hard. And I travelled! I ate croissants in Paris, ate too much cheese in Amsterdam, had amazing fish in Mozambique, swam at the edge of the Victoria Falls, had ice cream in Zambia, lunch in Botswana, coffee in Kenya and bitterballen in Den Haag. I fell in love with windmills and canals, trains and bicycles, and enjoyed European winter. Netherlands was a second home 😍 And I finally explored Cape Town like a tourist and went home every chance I got. And I went to the gym, hiked Lion’s Head religiously and went to church. And my career catapulted. I wouldn’t even know where to begin expressing my gratitude because it wasn’t just hard work, it was my seniors at work vouching for me, motivating for me and dropping my name in high places. It was my postgraduate students working hard and cooperating. It was my supervisor saying: “I feel like I photocopied myself in you.” And her pushing me in her footsteps -Guiding me on Funding, Ratings, Publications, Patents, Roping me into high-value projects and mentoring me like a mother. I got ALL the fundings I applied for. Like all of them said YES. I’m still speechless. I got NRF rated (Super huge for my career). I was granted a patent for the nanocomposite I produced during my PhD by South Africa, UK and USA, and the university poured funds into me moving to commercialisation (This happened after I wrote an email to the VC one 3 am. I woke up regretting how ‘harsh’ I had sounded and wanted to walk up to his office and ask him to delete the email before reading it - Long story 💀 But turns out I had just been assertive and not rude, so yay! “Sign here, here and here.”) In all the cities I went to this year, I wrote the way I think - endlessly, deeply and utterly silly sometimes. I wrote my heart out and fought hard against impostor syndrome. I finally published my 6th novel, made progress on The y in your man is silent 3, finished my other novel (Lelani), finished my non-fiction book (about my childhood) and wrote my novel (The Praying Mantis) on my Facebook page. And I got the Outstanding Author award, making me a Multi-award winner… It meant the world! I also finally stopped focusing on the next goal and slowed down. I savoured every moment as it happened and was present in real life. I looked out of airplane windows, went to spas regularly and drank a lot of tea. I also stopped trying to lose weight and ate my heart out. This year, I gave myself the love and kindness I give other people, and I was very gentle with myself. Through it all, God carried me and loved me as if I was His only creation. And I made many connections on and offline. And as always, I enjoyed Twitter a LOT. All that made the year so so beautiful 😍 Also refurnished my house and renovated just nje for no reason at all 🤭 Oh, and I LOVED and allowed myself to be LOVED 😍 And I took many pictures of innuendos 🤭🤣 Chilling and working just enough has been fun, but resting is over. Next year, we go hard!💪 The best is yet to come 🤞✨

After rounds of 67, 68 and 68 Lee Westwood has a share of the lead at LIV Golf Singapore with Jaoco Niemann and he says a win tomorrow would probably be the best of his career: “I guess at the age of -- I'm 53 on the 24th of April, so at that stage, it would probably be the best win of my career. I get asked that question a lot, and I normally go back to the '97 Australian Open beating Greg Norman in a playoff as certainly my favorite win, and then obviously winning at Sun City with my wife carrying my golf bag, I have to then say that that's one of my favorite wins or she's clips me around the ear. “But all of my wins have special memories. But to still be competitive at my age and up there and having chances to win tournaments like this is validation for driving myself on and doing all the hard work and practice that nobody sees and still being competitive, like I say, and having a good enough game to compete against them.” He went on to talk about how comfortable he feels playing in Asia: “Yeah, I've always loved coming to Asia. I set my stall out the beginning of my career, coming to Malaysia and places like that. I went to Japan very early on in my career, 1994, for the Acom International, and then I played Visa Taiheiyos and Dunlop Phoenix and won three Visa Taiheiyos in a row and a Dunlop Phoenix back-to-back with the Visa. I won the Malaysian Open. One place I haven't won is Singapore, so it would be nice to add that to the list. I came close in 2005. Adam pipped me. “I don't have too much of an issue with the heat for some reason. It's hot, but you just deal with it, right? I'd rather play in the heat than the cold. My body seems to loosen up in these conditions, which is a bonus. “I've always enjoyed coming to Asia, and I class myself as a player that's played a world tour all my career. I never really wanted to stay in one spot. I never really wanted to play the PGA TOUR full time. I think I was a member of that tour for six or seven years but I wanted to go and play all around the world and see what the world is all about.” Lee Westwood has won 44 times around the world in more than 20 different countries. He’s looking to add to that list on Sunday in Singapore 🇸🇬 Lee Westwood Majesticks Golf Club LIV Golf

My name is ISAAC BRISTOL. I am a victim of T-Pain's statewide oppression, where citizens are arbitrarily arrested, and forcefully disappeared. Listen to part one of my traumatic experience in the hands of state actors, working for the interest of a very powerful individual in the presidency, whom i will mention in my subsequent video. Note: This happened under this current Tinubu's lawless administration🖕 I was kidnapped/arrested in my hotel room in port-harcourt. was beaten, blindfolded and taken to miniokoro Anti-Kidnapping unit. They tortured, starved, and detained me in a dungeon for 5 days. I was flown in handcuffs from port harcourt to Abuja, handed over to NCCC, detained at the F.C.I.D for 23 days, arraigned in court, and sent to kuje prison for 32 days on remand. I believe the world should hear my story, because i have never told my own side of the story before. I am currently standing trial at the Federal High court maitama Abuja. And my case will be coming up on the 5th of November 2024. I was only granted bail by the court, and was allowed to go home after spending one month, two days in Kuje prison. But for clarity sake, let me state this here categorically that the 9 count charges against me were neither discharged, nor struck out by the court. I only got bail, but i have a trail to stand. My trial will commence from next month. One of the conditions of my bail was the tendering of my international passport to the court, until the determination of this case. Sending me to prison has only emboldened me in life to speak up more for others. Because i have experienced one of two things every man is afraid of in life. Which is (PRISON & DEATH) although one is inevitable, but no one wishes for it untimely. I am not scared to die, even if it comes my way this very minute. In my 1,440 hours of incarceration, i lost my good health 😭 I lost my life saving, and some sources of income. I have injury scars on my body, i lost proper functionality of my two fingers. I am battling health challenges, and currently receiving treatment, but unknown to the world 💔 I have resolved to be telling the other sides of shocking stories, as an advocate of human and People's rights henceforth. I am a victim, and i now know how it feels like when one's right is trampled upon by state actors, working for some vested interest in power. I knew i was going to do this, even while in prison. Hence the birthing of Isaac Bristol. Thanks to Harry Harry 🎯🎯🎯. I will tell my story, and lots of other stories as narrated to me firsthand by people while in prison, and others outside prison, who also consider themselves victims of deep state oppression. (With their full authorization) It will be left to Nigerians, and the world to decipher the truth after listening. It is very important to note that, i will be doing this video recordings, with my face and name 💪 To start, i know charity begins at home. So i will definitely start with my own story. Please listen and follow up the story, as i will be dropping it in parts. Part 2, 3, 4 and more will follow.

There's something about design that truly makes me happy. Before I was diagnosed with a complete SCI, I loved building thing with my hands and trying to make them unique and beautiful. The accident didn't just take my mobility, it robbed me of my creative drive. I didn't I would ever get that back that was up until Neuralink came into the picture. I was very serious about applying but just couldn't bring myself to do it. Then Noland Arbaugh comes into the picture and I see his video and I saw how passionate he was toward the whole ide and that was like a switch. I want to thank Noland because if I hadn't seen that video I wouldn't be typing this message with my thoughts. So the day I gained control of the device I had the guys install Autodesk Fusion and the first night I had my first part designed by BCI. I have been designing things non-stop since. Now lets talk tools and the first one is the ArcDroid it is a CNC robot that holds a plasma torch and can cut profiles in sheet metal. I have made numerous signs, letters and parts with this and i love it. I have also had the chance to help the local high school install and setup their CNC plasma table. I love being able to share my knowledge with others and show new technology to kids that want to learn. The next one everybody is more familiar with is the Bambu Lab X1C. It is my first 3D printer and I had no idea how dang handy these things were! I can go from thought, Neuralink, Fusion, X1C and poof! You have your part all in a matter of like a hour. I make everything from parts for my wheelchair or RC ✈ to toys for my nephew. These devices have completely changed my life. I now have my creative outlet back and I'm not done looking for new things to try. I'm thinking a laser next!!!😎 Thank you Elon Musk for the opportunity to showcase my skills, I'm extremely grateful🙏

I don’t like having to get angry, yell, or raise my voice/blood pressure, but here’s another example of the daily BS that I have to put up with, and WHY I get as upset as I do. For the third time in two years, I am being sued, and my company is being sued over actions that I had no part of, and would never have done had I been in charge of my company. Today, as I was getting ready to go out of town to see a good friend, my dad knocked on my door and let me know that a process server had just come by the house and serve me paperwork. When I looked inside of the envelope, my first reaction and thought was that it was gonna be somebody locally that didn’t like what I had to say online, as I’m sure that that’s coming eventually. To my surprise, and I assure you, it was a surprise, I’m being sued for Joe McBride brother, Eric. Allegedly, Eric McBride violated federal statutes when it comes to marketing/telemarketing. I show you those charges inside of this video. You may not like me over January 6, and you may not like my politics, but one thing for sure: I have never been sued, or criminally charged/referred over anything at Wholesale Universe. If I did something that wasn’t in my customer/client’s best interest, I made it right over and over and over. My motto, and many of my former employees can tell you, was, “we are always going to do the right thing, even if it hurts.” It pains me to see what has become of the baby that I built. As you can see, the company is not in the correct hands right now. When it was in mine and Bonnie’s control only, we didn’t have these issues. When it became in Bonnie’s control only, lawsuits and criminal complaints/criminal investigations started flying. Once again, you may not like me personally, but that doesn’t mean that my business that I rightfully and legally ran for years on end should be taken away from me and given to criminals who do things like this. Especially when these bills are still in my name, you’re still using the name wholesale universe which I created, and your tarnishing and staining my legacy and my name - in my ultimate reputation, which I tried to leave the world to use for good. Y’all took what I built for the community and for the employees and for the clients and ruined it. That makes me so sick to my stomach that I can put in so much time and effort just to have people come in behind me and completely steal it and ruin it, and destroy all the clients in the employees along the way that helped build it and get it there. Along with my children, losing my business that I worked so hard to build to these thieves is the second worst thing that ever happened to me. It took away all of the financial providing for myself that I ever planned for. I didn’t have a Plan B I built wholesale universe and burnt the ships behind me, as Matt Manero once said. I am going to fight this in court, but not the way that everyone thinks. You see, I have a game plan, and what I’ve learned about my game plans is none of you can ever guess what I’m gonna do next. So stay tuned.. Y’all thought the fire was lit under my ass before.. I’m going 3000 times harder now

Climbing Annapurna: A Journey of Leadership Reflecting back, this avalanche was the exact reason for my decision NOT to take the normal route up Annapurna. Annapurna was the first mountain of the project Possible, and it wasn’t only this avalanche that presented hurdles. The long summit push in waist-deep snow, the rescues, and my team being in charge of fixing the lines all played a role. I realize how pivotal that moment was. As a leader, whether on the mountain or in life, I know every choice carries immense weight. One wrong decision could be catastrophic. During my career within the Gurkhas and UKSF/SBS, especially on operations, I learned that 100% commitment is essential, and I carry that mantra as a major principle in my life. After this avalanche, the next morning, I flew my drone to scout the mountain, using skills I developed in the special forces. With no filming crew or high-altitude cameras, it was just me and my determination. Choosing the Dutch Rib route, which had never been completed before, faced skepticism. Many said it was impossible, but I was driven by a greater purpose. We managed to push through, fixed the lines not only for our team but for the rest of the season's climbers, and reached the summit, proving that with dedication and hard work, the impossible can become reality. For me, leadership is about integrity and commitment. Every decision I make is for the team and the mission. After leading over 200 successful expeditions during and after my military career, I cannot emphasize the importance of always giving 100%. The lessons learned along the way are crucial for making it safe. As you all know, I’m a big fan of both summit and safety; they go hand in hand with my expeditions. My 52 successful ascents of 8000m peaks, while guiding and leading the team, speak volumes about the power of collaboration and shared goals. Here’s to embracing challenges and making every decision count 🙌🏽🙏🏽 #50plus8000msummits #MotivationalSpeaker #higgest8ksummitswithno02 #firstk2wintersummitnoo2 #nimsdai

Mother with two kids her abusive boyfriend vandalized her apartment and stole her gun two weeks after he was arrested for putting his hands on her. According yo her gofund me page… Hi my name is Destinee I'm a single mother of two who just moved back to Dallas from Chicago just to give my kids a better life. I Wanted my kids to experience something more than where we were from. Better schools, more opportunities, and cheaper rent for me to be able to do more with my kids. It all backfired on me dealing with a man I thought I could trust somebody I was with on and off for 2 years. Two weeks ago he put his hands on me and that was my final straw me. I have a daughter and I refuse to let her see me get abused by a man. I have to lead by example for both of my kids. Being the God fearing woman l am I gave him a few weeks to get his situation in order to official leave my apartment today. I went about my day as normal took my kids to school and went to do Lyft. Once I got back home he has completely vandalized my apartment from TVs, my content phone, my bed, my daughter's iPad, clothes and more! He also stole my gun I took all the proper steps to get him arrested for the assault from 2 weeks ago and for property damage that was done today. Detective stated it will take 3 to 5 business days for any progress but they are on top of it considering his background they cannot issue out a protective order until they have him in custody. I Will be going to the courthouse tomorrow to try and get a temporary restraining order but for now it's all a waiting game. just started my job and I just moved back here and I refuse to lose it all or let him run me back to Chicago. My daughter's birthday is in 4 days and I have to put a smile on my face and pick up the pieces for my babies.

Training for an Ultra in 100 Degrees I think there’s an argument that this year’s Javelina 100 was the hottest super-competitive ultra ever run. Nearly 100 degrees record heat, absolutely no shade or creeks, with a 5-day desert pre-bake. Also, I always thought that I sucked in hot weather. We were going to have to science the crap out of this problem. My heat training protocol involved 3 interventions: 1. Passive heat exposure via hot tub. Studies on hot water immersion show an increase in blood volume and heat tolerance, plus enhanced capillary function 2. Active heat exposure via heat suit training. Since 2021, 10+ studies have shown that as little as 3 weeks of heat suit training sessions can increase hemoglobin mass. My heat suit involved a base layer of normal running clothes, a sweatshirt under a down jacket, and polyester sweatpants under winter rain pants. Plus a fuzzy hat 3. Strenuous heat exposure via treadmill workouts in a warm room Here is the protocol Megan and I settled on to balance stress with training adaptations: 1. Hot tub at 104 degrees F 2-3 times per week. I stayed in until my heart rate reached 100-110 (100 on rest days, 110 when immediately after training) 2. At 4 weeks out, I started using the heat suit for 15 minutes on the uphill treadmill after runs 3 times per week, starting at moderate intensity to get my core temperature up rapidly, then dialing it back. 3 weeks out, I added 1 x 90 minute heat suit run. 2 weeks out, 1 x 90 min heat suit bike plus a 1 hour heat suit run 3. Two massive treadmill workouts in a room that was around 80 degrees 2.5 and 3.5 weeks out 4. On race week, I did hot tub every day including the day before the race, since studies show the hemoglobin mass adaptations can reverse rapidly In the race day furnace, my main goal was to gaslight myself into thinking I enjoyed the heat (which is also backed up by studies finding that emotional perception of temperature influences physiological response). In reality, I still don’t love the heat. But I love science. And I think we scienced this problem so hard that I had one of the better heat performances ever 🔥🧡 Race video from the amazing Emily Cameron 🙌

I have decided to go fully into a state of confession & reconciliation I wasn’t sure if there were certain things in my life I wanted to give up I’m too familiar with my worldly lifestyle & it has seemed to hard to detach from Perhaps it is and I will fail. I cannot know my future, but I can hold on to faith and God’s promise to guide me into His will I won’t ever be perfect, but I’m willing to submit whatever God is calling me to give up or begin doing Surrounded myself with a group of good Godly people and resources first as I know it’s going to be very difficult / hard to stay accountable If you ever hear that I’m not perfect, that I have sinned, or compromised on my spiritual goals. Unfortunately it’s all possible as an imperfect human being - I honestly don’t even know what success looks like in this endeavor But the fear of future failure cannot and will not longer be a tool of the enemy to keep me from putting my best foot forward to conform to the character of God Pray for my soul that I would be set free to be in communion with God and please always pray for the souls of all those still suffering in sin & rebellion I’m not claiming a sudden conversion, just willing to begin the actual journey to submit my life to The One who created me. I don’t know my purpose here on earth, but I know my purpose isn’t the way I’m living May God grant me the grace and mercy to find out the answer to this difficult question. I know the answer is out there, in Jesus’s name. (I hope I never lose my dry sense of humor in all of this - I will still always be imperfect me, but hopefully I’m changed internally)
