I finally got around to making the “cream of anything” soup base- don’t sit on this like I did. It works up fantastic if you use canned condensed soup for your comfy foods. Dry recipe (I’ll link my outline below) yields about 10 cans. Put the control back in your kitchen.

🍺 The soup that broke the internet! Irish beer cheese soup made with legendary Guinness Thick, creamy, with bacon and smoked cheese. One spoon — and you’re in Dublin on St. Patrick’s Day, just at home and without the hangover. Ready to cook? Save this so you don’t lose it 👇 Ingredients: — 5 slices of bacon — 1/2 cup Guinness — 1 tbsp butter — 1 onion — 4 garlic cloves — 1/4 cup flour — 3 cups chicken broth — 1 cup heavy cream — 450 g gnocchi — 2 cups cheddar — 1 cup smoked cheese (Gouda or Gruyère) — cabbage — Dijon mustard — paprika, chili — green onions — rye bread How to cook: — Cook the bacon until crispy, remove it, leave some fat in the pot — Add butter, onion, and spices, cook for 3–4 minutes, then add garlic and cook for ~30 seconds — Add flour and stir for 1–2 minutes until thickened — Pour in broth, cream, and Guinness, add mustard, bring to a gentle simmer — Add gnocchi and cook for 3–4 minutes until they float and the soup thickens — Add cabbage and simmer for another 3–5 minutes — Lower the heat and stir in the cheeses until creamy — Return the bacon and adjust salt — Serve with toasted rye bread 🥣 This is the kind of meal that keeps you full all day
