The first project hooked me, but the one thing I kept thinking wasn't about concrete. It was time. None of these ideas looked outrageously complicated. Pour the forms. Stack the blocks. Shape the concrete. Add the finishing touches. The hard part is finding three uninterrupted hours where nobody needs you, your phone stays quiet, and another project doesn't suddenly become more important. That's the real DIY tax. I already spotted a couple ideas I'd steal. The concrete pathway looked great, and that bicycle tire stepping stone was a lot more creative than I expected. The best part of videos like this isn't copying everything. It's finding one or two ideas that make you look around your own yard and think... I could actually build that this weekend. Assuming life doesn't have other plans.

NS Rb: Thank you for remembering that it's been six years. Right now, this feels like the best day of my life. Starting all the way back from the VALORANT beta in 2020, I think I always viewed myself more as someone who was still learning. Honestly, I never really thought of myself as someone who could just guarantee that I was a great player. So from the members I played with starting in Vision Strikers through DRX up until 2023, I think I spent those three years learning. Then through that learning, when I went to TEC in VCT CN, I thought a lot about how to use what I had learned, not just in-game but also more broadly in life. And that eventually brought me here to Nongshim and to this moment. In the end, though, the result came down to learning, studying, teammates covering for one another, and most importantly, as obvious as it sounds, hard work. (via EndPoem)

found this funny story in 2023🤣🤣 he's so cute and is a very collage final student like us🥹 "there’s this other story. that day, I went to get a haircut just like usual. while I was getting my hair cut, the barber start a conversation and said, 👤: have you been really busy lately, kiddo? it seems like you've been styling your hair a lot 🐰: ohh, yes, I have (been busy) then he told me that my scalp is really starting to need some serious care. so, I thought to myself, "wow, does my scalp really need urgent care like that?" a moment later, he said again, 👤: Namping, you should do a scalp detox with me right now so I agreed and went to get the detox. the detox he meant was washing my hair with a detoxifying shampoo, so I was like "okay, okay, let's do it!" while he was washing my hair, he asked what kind of shampoo do I normally use at home and I told him, "I use Argan oil shampoo", while my hair was being washed, I asked him, 🐰: sir, what kind of shampoo should I actually be using? 👤: this exact one I'm using on you right now as he washed it, it felt really cool and refreshing on my scalp. it felt so good. at that moment, I thought maybe I should start using this one at home. so I said "could you show it to me later? which one is it?" then, when it came time to blow-dry my hair after the haircut was finished, he brought over the shampoo and said, 👤: Namping, it's this one suddenly another stylist shouted from another haircutting station, 👤👤: hey, another artist from your agency (DMD) uses this same shampoo too. they buy it two bottles at a time hearing that, I thought, "if another artist from my company is using it, their hair must look amazing. I wanted to scream out loud! *screaming* but in my heart, I told myself, "it's fine. think of it as an investment, Namping. it's an investment. we are investing in our hair. it's the most worthwhile investment" the end." Nancy Guthrie I have always been a huge supporter of private searches for the missing by volunteers, but not like this. Please: *Wear Gloves *Keep the item you found where you found it. *Take a photo *Do not move it. That is LE's Job LE (Pima County)- What in the heck are you doing? Did you fail evidence collection at the academy? This officer needs a remedial course. Use a paper evidence collection bag (not plastic-she knew she was going there to collect evidence). Plastic degrades DNA and this one is too small. Even a child would recognize not to stuff something 3 times too big into a bag 3 times too small. Also, did you notice something fell out? Do I think this is related, unlikely but possible. Whenever there is a possibility it could be evidence, take it, but treat it like evidence. Maybe it was used in another crime. This happens. I have lost faith. How was the evidence collection handled inside Nancy's house if this is how evidence collection happens when all eyes are looking? #NancyGuthrie #NancyGuthrieCase

Host: Am I the asshole for not wanting to give my late husband's frozen sperm to his parents? My husband and I froze his sperm after he was diagnosed with cancer so we could still have children together if chemotherapy left him infertile. Sadly, the treatment didn't work, and he passed away on July 19. His parents knew we had frozen his sperm because they were heavily involved throughout his treatment. After he died, they asked if I still planned to use it. I told them no. Then they asked if I would transfer ownership of the sperm to them so they could have grandchildren instead. I assume they're planning to use a surrogate, but I was so shocked that I didn't even ask. My immediate reaction was that it felt wrong. We froze his sperm because we wanted to build a family together—not so his parents could continue his bloodline after he was gone. I'm also confused about the logistics. They're both in their 60s. Who exactly is supposed to raise this child? The surrogate? Another family member? My husband didn't have any siblings, and I certainly wouldn't feel comfortable doing it myself. To me, it feels like they're focused on continuing the family bloodline without really thinking through what's best for the child or what my husband would have wanted.

🔌Today I created a virtual web-based null modem so now you can finally play Quake 1 (from 1996) in multiplayer in the browser with other people online! This week I was able to create a virtual printer that listens on the COM2 port to make a web-based printer work in Windows 3.11, like on you can actually print to, it was one of my ideas when I started but it was always too difficult to make, I had no idea where to start, but this week AI was able to do it! Today I woke up and thought "if we can listen to COM2 via JS, how about listen to COM1 from Quake 1?" then we could forward the COM1 data via Websockets and to another user to create a virtual null modem (A null modem was a cable you'd use to connect two computers to each other directly in the 90s, if you couldn't afford buying a network card you'd use this to network, but you could only play with one other computer not multiple) So I built it, it took about an hour and works! I wanted to get Quake 1 in DOS to work with multiplayer for 2 years but I could never get it to work, but now it did it This project is a good benchmark of how capable AI is becoming, figuring stuff out that humans would take months within an hour You can try it here, I don't know how it will match lots of people but let's see, you have to exit to DOS first (ALT-F4 or FN-Option-F4 on Mac), then type CD games, then CD quake, then quake, then ESC, then Multiplayer, then either Create New Game or Join Game, and use Direct Connect, keep settings same and you're in!

This is from an interaction I had yesterday morning after the Frenchies "board meeting" My video isn't aimed at large breed dog owners. It's aimed at every dog owner, from a pomeranian to a great dane who chose to let their dogs run over to all and sundry. It's all too common seeing situations like this, and all too often, dogs are injured in situations that could so easily have been avoided with the use of a long line. Attitudes and excuses like this really don't wash. It's an offence to have a dog dangerously out of control. This situation wasn't in that category, primarily because I wasn't scared of the dog, and my frenchies are used to large breed dogs, but another person, another set of dogs and the outcome could have been very different. No recall, and being off leash can be a dangerous combination. "My dogs friendly" won't prevent you potentially ending up in court or with a hefty vet bill when it goes up to the wrong dog. It's not an attempt to shame anyone, and I thought long and hard about posting it, but I feel it shows the issue far better than I can put in words. In the near 6 minute conversation, she was adamant that her actions were not an issue. I left my contact details with her if she wanted to seek help down the line.

Finished P20 on my first Renault Clio Cup Europe Event! Super Super super happy and very very emotional weekend for me and could not be happier!🍾😍 Had very bad start and first lap (car ahead jump start and I was watching him instead of lights lol and then too careful on first lap) but then I went full racing! From P31 to P22 and P20 after few penalties ahead! Had some very nice battles and overtakes🥳 SIMRACING really prepared me well for how to race and fight and defend! I know exactly what to do!😎 I need to work a lot on qualify its very hard in this series and improve some little mistakes but Im so proud! It was so amazing race with fighting from start to finish that after crossing line I bursted in massive cry (im not ashamed) because there was a trauma for me and waiting for 20 years to do this felt so special in paddock I had to cry on my engineer Gatien shoulders😭😭 I know its hard to understand but for me it was so emotional waited half of my life for this..❤️ Field of this series is INCREDIBLE and racing IS INTENSE I never seen anything like this before. You guys need to watch this! Most pure touring car racing! SPA in 3weeks with 60 cars field and big straights will be challenge, I think it will teach me the most (you need balls to go fast at Spa in this car as its goes sideways everywhere)!🥹

Anyone wanna tell him why his pellet grill is on fire, he seems to not know. It the whole inside of the grille is on fire, it’s beginning to peel the painted coating on it. He turned it down but didn’t turn it off. This my friends is a grease fire. Every time I do a long cook, I use the plastic scraper and clean out the grill and grease tray. I then empty out the fire box of ash. Grease build up in the walls can lead to grease fires as I can see what happened here. Normal pellet grills don’t have a huge open flame like this, that’s how I knew. A clean pit not only tastes better, but is safer overall. I would never do an overnight smoke while I’m sleeping and my grill could easily catch fire like this, it could have gone way worst than that. I’ve only ever had one grease fire and it was in my Weber Kettle, I was just learning how to use charcoal, up until that point I had a Weber Genesis, propane grill. I was doing some fatty cuts of pork and beef, over time the grease built up quite a bit, I never cleaned it once, just scraped off the grates every so often. I was told it added flavor so that’s why I never did it. I got the coals ready in the chimney and after I put them in the grill, I added some chunks of wood, a slab of ribs and I closed it. I was doing the 3-2-1 method, so I came back in 3 hours and the ribs were burnt to a crisp, it was only mostly bone left. Nothing resembled any meat at all. It seems like it had caught fire. Ended up ruining that grill and getting another one. Learn from my mistakes, don’t let this happen to you.

Anyone wanna tell him why his pellet grill is on fire, he seems to not know. It the whole inside of the grille is on fire, it’s beginning to peel the painted coating on it. He turned it down but didn’t turn it off. This my friends is a grease fire. Every time I do a long cook, I use the plastic scraper and clean out the grill and grease tray. I then empty out the fire box of ash. Grease build up in the walls can lead to grease fires as I can see what happened here. Normal pellet grills don’t have a huge open flame like this, that’s how I knew. A clean pit not only tastes better, but is safer overall. I would never do an overnight smoke while I’m sleeping and my grill could easily catch fire like this, it could have gone way worst than that. I solved building decks with AI agents — by giving them a CLI tool like Powerpoint or Google Slides. AI could already make a beautiful deck if you asked it to using Ant's pptx skill. The problem was working with it. If it made one alignment mistake, fixing it on one slide would break something on another, and it became a game of whack-a-mole. One time I spent two days playing AI roulette, hoping the next prompt would finally fix the thing, and ended up building the whole deck by hand because I was on a deadline. So I built Hands-on Deck. And the reason it works is that this isn't just a skill — this is PowerPoint. The actual application: PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote, whatever you use. This is that, but for an agent, presented as a CLI. Every gesture you make in a deck app maps to a command. Click a box and type, drag a shape from here to there, look at a slide – agent can do it all in a command. And that changes how the agent behaves. With this CLI it works and thinks like a designer — it looks, makes an edit, looks again, makes another surgical edit. Compare that to Anthropic's pptx skill, built on the idea that Claude is a great programmer: it literally writes code to manipulate the deck, hand-editing XML and hoping it doesn't break anything else in the middle. The real test isn't creating something once — it's whether it can make surgical edits like you want. That's what I did in this video walkthrough and my claude crushed it! Check it out for yourself. How I get shit done, Episode 001 I've set up a playbook called ‘land’, which is triggered automatically when I drag an issue into the merging column in Linear. That reliably runs CI and merges any green PRs. This has allowed me to ship way faster than before. I think the key takeaway here is you can try to build your own code factory and your own agent orchestration layer, but it is a huge amount of work. The truth is there are entire companies with massive funding that are already tackling this and it's just easier to use their platform. I think this is a lot like if you were a carpenter: you could build your own generator, fuel it, wire it up, and then build a plug and then you could plug your saw into it. Or you could just plug your saw into the wall. Because the electricity company has already done all the work in the infrastructure and investment to make that plug work. I think more of us who are building companies should just be plugging into the wall instead of trying to build all this tooling ourselves. As a dev it's so tempting to build your own dev tools but I think a lot of times, even though you can build fast with agents now, it's a complete waste of time. It probably sounds like I'm being paid by Devin or something but I have zero financial interest here. They don't give me credits. I'm not an investor. I'm not being paid. I just think the tooling is really damn good. If you used Devin a long time ago and wrote it off, you really should have another look - for $500/month it's pretty obscene what you can get done.
