If you rely on someone else to pay you, you’re going to have to meet their expectations.

Great, then go create your own multimillion dollar company from your den and do what you want. If a remote worker is not a net benefit to an employer, then that option is no longer available so suck it up buttercup.

No it was never supposed to be a permanent thing and it’s just that simple. It was for covid, not forever.

🎯this is why I think the Covid lockdowns were a net positive for us. So many people learning & waking up. We were given time, a precious commodity we hadn’t had much of before.

Part of the salary is accounting for the time and travel. That’s what made the job appealing in the first place you agreed this amount of pay is worth the time travel and working hours when you took the job. If you’re staying home the pay should be cut to reflect the new conditions.

Very impressed with herself isn’t she. I’d be looking to replace her. She sounds like a cancer within the organization.

And you are only doing a 1/4 of the work you would do in the office. Too bad get back to work.

Most people I know who work from home fudge the numbers like nobody's business just get yourself a job that entails working from home if you don't want to go by the rules of your employer

Ambition, creativity, ingenuity, and problem solving all feed off one another. Good luck building a team or a company culture with that attitude.
