I created “Omode Meta” by breaking down components of past creations to forge a new piece. Building this piece helped me reconnect with ‘Home’ which is my inner child whom I’d been longing to rediscover and explore. A Thread 🧵

I called this journey “My Homecoming” One off my ‘Let The Kid Paint’ series. 1.

The feeling of returning to a place where you truly belong—whether it’s a physical/mental space or to a group of people. It’s a moment of reconnection, where the familiar comforts of the past meet the person you’ve become, creating a sense of warmth, acceptance, and renewal. 2.

It’s not only about coming back or reconnecting, but about rediscovering the meaning of “home” in a deeper, more personal way. Ofcourse I had to go through that journey within using collages of paper planes I had painted in the past 🙂‍↔️ 3.

Original bits of this painting was made traditionally using Ink, acrylic, oil pastel and wool. It was eventually adapted and arranged digitally Displayed on screen @ourhomecoming 2024 4.
