I created this book! Despite comments such as, "Yeah right, kids can't (or shouldn't) learn this," I regularly receive emails from parents telling me that their kids love the book and have successfully figured out how all the pages work.

Thanks! It has phototransistors in the back of the book, and every time you open a page it reveals a new phototransistor.

My kids love the book, and I enjoy explaining it to them, but I do think it would be helpful to parents without a background in CS if v2 of the book, or a "for toddlers" version, came with simple explanations.

I love this book! It would be great if the phototransistors were on top of the page rather than the bottom so the shadow of your hand doesn't screw them up.

Perspective for all the parents out there 🙏🏼 “I hear people talking all the time about their kids and how their kids get on their nerves, how their kids are loud, how they can’t go work out cause they got kids now, how they can’t go out at night cause they got kids now. From a daddy who lost his boy, I can’t so much to stand to f*cking hear people talk like that about their kids… I’d give 20 years off my life.. to have one day with my son.”

This American’s sons daycare had all the kids paint pictures Afterwards the parents were told if they would like the artwork, they can buy it from the daycare The daycare is selling prints, mugs, aprons and more without their authorization and charging expensive prices This is illegal. I looked it up and found that daycares don’t have the legal right to monetize their kids artwork I can’t believe I had to look that up….

Believe it or not there are actually people out there like this, they consider eating out a luxury that they aren’t willing to share with their children. They go out and eat their full and have drinks all while the kids eat nothing or very minimally. If anyone out there isn’t willing to pay for a meal out for their kids, I feel they shouldn’t have kids, and that they are truly selfish people. I’ve been to places before where the parents have their designer clothes on, with tall beers and fat steaks, while their kids are splitting a small order of French fries. Should parents like this be charged with child abuse for psychological abuse?

🚨 REMOVED!!!! The book that I read from in Palm Beach Schools is officially removed. The title of the book is: Let's Talk About It! I appreciate the board chair for removing this book along with two other books that Bonnie Wallace read from. This is a good start, but a terrible conclusion. The board chair promised us to remove all of the books, and as I speak hundreds of other books are still on the bookshelves in this District. Why is the school district holding on smut books for kids?
