Why didn’t he correct himself during the interview?

He could have owned that mistake at the time, and ask that the other video be played. Instead he chose to argue with her after she called him out.

Of course, Fox News didn't mean to mislead anyone. Why would we think that? Also, that clip did not help his argument one bit. If anything, it made it worse.

Baier aired the right clip… but he cut off the first *half of the answer. He omitted the part where Trump talks about ‘the enemy within’.👻 (Straight outta Hitler playbook.) Yet, Baier denied it during the interview. But @FoxNews made a mistake by putting Trump in front of such a fawning crowd. They gin him up & he doubles down & spews more lies… digging his own grave.
