And that would get you to study a degree ? 😭

Yes , especially if you have been working towards getting in . You can start with nqf level 3 short courses then move up . Just check learning pathways for the university. all it takes is moving through nqf level 3- 6 to get the right entry for 7

Mmmh 🤔interesting seems like a long path though

3 month 1 yr courses to build up , not long . Also some level 6 modules can get exemptions depending on what degree you are channeling

@MadeforTyresse In the Netherlands they call it the 21+ toelatignsonderzoek. At 21 you can take a state competency test that allows Bachelor access if you don't have a school diploma

They don’t offer this option when applying so useless

So How would one get it , you would've to enquire with the uni ?

@thabelo_maxi You apply at HESA however it doesn’t mean you to can just do any program. E.g. you can’t go into medicine through this because the score to enter the program at uni will still apply.

People who never knew this shock me

Tyresse♧'s profile picture

We simply just look at the standard requirements and use that to apply it's not ignorance we just assume that's the only way in a university "meeting the requirements" 🤷🏾‍♂️

It's about MONEY. GOT MONEY to pay Uni-in SA! You can get your degree in whatever you paid for to attend your classes. Provided you PASS with the brains that came with the stack of your Milli!

I think the caption is misleading cause there are requirements after all like she mentioned.

Some girl mentioned that her father studied at UJ without a matric certificate. From what I remember, he completed an assessment that allowed him to gain admission. .

@KamoMolatlhoe I know this used to be there in 2007 At UNISA, People without exemption at the age of 23 would go straight to Degree But below 23 without exemption you'd start with bridging course
