Anthony Kim talks about how it feels being on a team for the first time on the LIV Golf League: “I'm just one day in, but obviously I wouldn't have accepted to be on the team if I didn't like all three of the guys. I've gotten to play with Thomas now quite a bit, and just being around guys that I want to hang out with off the golf course is the reason I chose to be on a team because obviously I had an option to stay wild card. “But honored to be a part of the team, and I think as I get better, the team will have more chances to win.” He then spoke about his expectations and goals for the season: “I'm delusional enough that my expectations were the same today as they were two years ago. But now I'm actually able to produce some of the good shots. “I've been working hard, and it's nice to see rounds like today where they could have been much lower, but it was still solid and on a tricky day. “I think I have a lot of opportunity in front of me, and if I just keep working, I don't see why I can't be contending on Sundays. “My goals are the same as they were when I first joined LIV. It's to get 1 percent better every day, stay sober, enjoy time with my family, and whatever happens happens, because all I can do is try my best.” Anthony Kim 4Aces GC LIV Golf

You see great teams practice amazingly. It translates. That's not a losing team out there. The way everybody was moving, I didn't get to get into the team situations today, that's going to be another day. But the way them boys are moving, this isn't a losing team."

I've always wondered all these years, from looking on on-boards over the years, what the differences would be. It's the first time I got to feel that today, and it was positive." "Obviously McLaren is very fast, and getting a clean lap is not easy. But I feel like there's lots of positive things to take from today, lots of learnings. Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added on to you. Verse 34 says don't worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow has enough worries in itself. That really came from when I was in a tough position when I was trying to play football, do I play baseball? My dad was on his deathbed, a lot going on. Didn't know what to choose. Didn't know what to do. Had two gifts in my hand, I've got all these great things going on, but I also had this tough decision about life and what do I do and this and that."
