From then to now…. My 1st tryout…I had no idea how to take a bump, I didn’t even know what a “bump” was let alone what a “promo” was… I was so nervous you can hear the quiver in my voice. I remember when I was about 22 or 23, and I was at one of the lowest points in my life for various reasons… I felt the need to go to church and wanted to find “peace” in my heart. I felt lost… I felt like I needed God in my life. I didn’t know what that even meant, I just felt it. I ended up at a church with a pastor very similar to this man.. and I wasn’t even a spiritual person back then, but everything inside of me was screaming to get out. 👤 after hearing all this, i feel like i do understand why soobin cried 🐰 exactly, it was a touching day 🦊 i used to be someone that had to work out things immediately too but from some point, i became an avoidant person and i think it was especially more towards my members 🦊 i pensively thought a lot about why that was the case like “what in the world is actually my problem?” 🦊 the expectations the company had from me and something people had always said to me since i was a trainee is “you need to be good” or “you need to do well” and hearing things like this…i’m someone who always wanted to be perfect, even in the way i presented myself…to be honest, the members can conflict with each other and talking about it is a very natural thing to do but i felt like i had to hide all this and since i’m older, i didn’t want to act like i was upset either so i just pretended like everything was okay…and doing this, i think i ended up hiding all my emotions at some point and avoiding all the members like “let me endure this and lead the way” so i think that as i constantly kept letting these things add, (my emotions) just exploded as i was doing my solo work

For the first time in like 6 years I sat in the first car I ever had. Good old 1997 Nissan Pathfinder. It smelled the exact same lmao I think its purpose in this visual was to highlight this remembrance of my journey and also operate as this bubble of peace and familiarity. The outside world felt/feels so chaotic and it’s hard for me to leave my comfort zone into the unknown and that’s the theme of this album and phase of my life. I think in that regard it’s telling that I never leave the car in this shot. Yes I’m tryna block out the noise but I need to be able to block out the noise while navigating through it, not just hiding from it.

#SEONGHWA about walking the runway for SONGZIO today 🩶 ⭐️: Anyway, what I really wanted to say today is that, honestly, walking the runway has always felt like a dream to me. And now, counting this time I’ve done it three times in total, now twice with SONGZIO, which is a brand I really lov, so it made this an even more meaningful time for me. It was such a meaningful experience. While getting ready backstage, all the models were just incredibly cool.. really, so cool. Seeing them gave me a lot of courage and watching how the staff worked was very inspiring as well. In a way it kind of reminded me of ATEEZ in our earlier days, everyone felt close like a family and it was really nice to see. Yes, I learned a lot and felt a lot through this experience. Last time I was only focused on the runway itself, but this time I think I was able to see things more broadly. I think I saw the whole thing with a broader perspective, I learned and felt things. It was truly so much fun. And in those moments I really felt like I was the main character, I really had fun. Originally, during rehearsal, I was second to last. But the CEO started at the very end, and after I finished, I was waiting like this and I was supposed to go in around the final turn. Then suddenly, he changed the positions. So, unexpectedly, I ended up even doing the finale, and it felt so thrilling. At the same time though I worried whether I might somehow be kind of a burden among such amazing models so that (thought) made me study and practice even more. Even though I personally feel there are still many ways I’m lacking, I also found myself thinking that maybe I was able to be part of the story these people were writing through fashion. 🐶: the 2 weeks promotion period has already come to an end. honestly, since the concert, i had this uncertain feeling and thought "can i really do all this while staying beside the members performing?" but i knew this was something i had to do. i'm the member of the group, it's my job and there's so many stays watching us. since i'm doing this in a way that's different from how i normally would do, i also wondered if it's okay for me to feel proud of myself? i still haven't been able to let go of this promotion period. for the music shows, i was actually the one who asked to participate and join the members. because if i were to be separated from the members, doing rehabilitation and resting alone... of course i know i should be resting. but i just couldn't accept it. honestly, everyone carries their own things while going through life and i didn't want to make what i was going through too obvious. at the same time, i didn't want to cause any inconvenience because you never knew what could happen. for instance, while performing and i suddenly couldn't continue and had to leave the stage midway, that would make things difficult. when one person is missing, someone else has to fill that space and the formation changes. so since i wasn't able to participate in the choreo during the mv filming, i thought it'd be meaningful enough just to able to stand with the members while keeping the original formation. that's what i explained to the company and choreographers. there's always the possibility that i might have to step out in the middle of performance. so even if i was somewhat hidden at the back, i wanted to focus on the fact that that i was still on stage together with them. i wanted to do my best to perform whenever i could. i really tried my best in my own way. those were my honest feelings. everything i've said is genuinely how i felt. so that's why i'm feeling a bit bittersweet and disappointed about everything. even so, i'm really doing my best in my own way and i sincerely mean that.
