I just saw the collaboration between Yang Liping and the Qwen app, and it’s honestly stunning. Usually, AI in art feels a bit gimmicky, but here it’s used more for inspirations. Yang Liping (who is a legend for a reason) used the tech to pull fresh inspiration into traditional Chinese dance. It doesn't feel like the AI is replacing the dancer; it feels like it’s helping her evolve the aesthetic into something modern but still deeply rooted in heritage. It’s one of those rare moments where tech actually makes the art feel more human, not less.

I was invited to test OpenArt Director. I made this nearly 1-minute cinematic video through conversation, starting with only an initial idea, two character images, and one background image. This is what vibe directing feels like. A few details impressed me: Director first generates the voiceover, then uses it as reference audio for Seedance 2.0. That makes the character voices feel much more natural and better synced. After the character images, it also helps create storyboard frames and camera reference images. That massively improves the final generation quality. It feels less like writing a prompt, and more like building a shot with an AI production team.

I spent way too much time messing around with Hermes and OpenClaw before trying Helio, and honestly the biggest difference was the setup experience. With most agent tools, you spend forever configuring workflows, prompts, APIs, and orchestration before the actual work even starts. Helio felt completely different. I gave it a task, left for a while, came back, and the AI teammates had already organized the work and started executing on their own. No complicated setup. No endless configuration. No babysitting agents. It feels less like operating AI tools and more like managing an actual AI workforce.
