I do not believe it is a binary switch that we can’t have a relationship with Pakistan if we have a relationship with India, says US Central Command chief, Gen Michael Kurilla. He describes Pakistan as a phenomenal counterterrorism partner for the one-off Pakistani support against ISIS-K in Afghanistan.... The simping of Pakistan is strong on this one. This isn't about binaries at all. It's about common sense. Truth is the US has a strong blindspot-- it is happy to overlook Pakistani terror against India in exchange for half-baked strategic cooperation in the region, despite knowing that it is being taken for a ride by Islamabad for the most part.
