The funniest one was the dumb fucking cop that asked the question! then the man said I don't answer questions! then the idiot cop said I don't know how to respond to that? How fucking stupid do you have to be to not understand he doesn't answer questions

Saying “I don’t answer questions” asserts your right to stay silent. It is not a command that forces police to leave. It can end a casual encounter where you are free to walk away. It does not end a lawful traffic stop or detention. Officers can still hold you, demand license/registration/insurance, require your name in many states, investigate, and arrest you if they already have probable cause. They generally cannot arrest you just for refusing to talk. They can still act on any legal grounds they already had.
