Forgive but don’t forget. Find peace. People who hold grudges are only punishing themselves.

And allow yourself to be controlled by that person/situation the rest of your life? Forgiveness isn’t for the other person, it’s to free yourself.

I don’t quite get how unforgiveness affects them though…🤷🏽‍♀️ Well, it doesn’t. Choosing to not forgive means you’re choosing to hold that negativity in your spirit. That’s a weight that YOU carry. Not them. So, yeah, there STILL kicking you while you’re choosing to stay down.
