Did you not watch the ACC Review Booth go over viewing angles, not originally seen on TV, which clearly showed the WR bobbling the ball and then not getting full control until after he stepped outside of the back of the end zone? I thought it was a TD until I watched in slo mo.

As a Miami fan, that is a catch. Not sure why fans and everyone over complicates this game. He had possession in the end zone. If you cant see that, you dont know what the hell possession means. You can clearly see him GATHER with those last 2 steps. No juggling

He clearly never “had the ball firmly in his grasp”. Even if he had a fingertip on each hand on the ball at some point, you can’t watch the ball move around that much and call that grip “firm” which is what’s required for a catch

The biggest problem here isn’t whether it’s a catch or not, it’s simply regardless there’s not indisputable evidence to overturn the call on the field either way. The fact the call was overturned is what’s garbage about this and presents call for concern imo.
