Ariens has a wedge design where it’s not perfectly straight but angled slightly to grip the log as it splits. Something to think about instead of the teeth. Works great 👇🏽

Just a suggestion. Buy a mount plate, hook it up to your skidsteer and use the auxiliary hydraulics to operate the cylinder. Great for splitting the big stuff.
