I don't deny that trans people exist. I object to the statement that a trans woman is a woman. This is a distortion of language and science.

Trans people exist in the same way Scientologists exist. It's an identity they've assumed for themselves that has nothing to do with anybody else. It changes nothing fundamental about them. Nobody ever looks at any person and distinguishes them as 'trans' with anything close to the precision we recognise men and women on sight. The statement 'Trans Women are Women' is part of their catechism. In every day speak it means 'Men Are Women', and we all know that is false. Men are most definitely not women. They are men. I wish people would stop referring to men as 'trans women'. It's a form of brainwashing.

I'd say that there is a very good argument to not use the terms "trans women" to refer to men. When we refer to men as "trans women", it causes a dissonance. It's classifying these men as if they are a "type of woman" - a "woman born with male anatomy". Which isn't accurate.

@labyrne9 Trans-identifying people exist. Technically 'trans people' do not, as it is not possible for a human to change sex or be born in the wrong body.

Good thing it isn’t up to you, Richard. Sit down and stay in your lane.

@vikkiplant The problem is really that some people deny that transvestites exist nowadays. Transvestites have certainly existed as long as I've been around, they provide both comedy and horror and have done in most cultures and time periods. I can still see transvestites, I know they exist.

Richard, as you may have experienced, it is very tiring and boring responding to those emotive assertions , as made by that woman. That is the level of discourse that the trans activists, woke gender ideologues and trans lobbyists engage at. The attempt at emotional blackmail, or holding your emotion hostage, or even distorting science to make an unrealistic conjecture, are all very boring at this point. Sorry you are dragged into this, but your voice is an important one, and we need all the sane scientists out there who are prepared to speak about the damaging effects of this ideology on society.

It should make everyone weep, that facts are now in the hands of ideological, self-inflicted, perpetual victims looking for fame and not reality.

@ImWatson91 Also a distortion the propositions (1) that disagreement = hate, and (2) that trans people only want to live their lives and be left alone - in fact they want us all to believe what they believe, and relentlessly accuse anyone who dissents of "hating a minority group".

Many deny that those who call themselves "trans" are actually the opposite gender and/or biological sex. No one denies that there are humans alive that refer to themselves as "trans".

Nothing but facts
