I think he sounds genuinely baffled by the mentality of everyone surrounding Tottenham and he’s rightfully starting to get pissed off by it all. Always the dark clouds, can never have anything nice. It’s draining and unfortunately it’s getting to him.

It’s public news that the club is looking at other candidates to move onto in the summer, not just Twitter anons. He’s a human being. If I was in his shoes, I’d be fuming. Not just cuz it’s my job, but bc now you’ve demotivated my players while I’m fighting for a trophy.

Is it public news? Every journalist I’ve seen on here has battered the line ‘for now he’s safe and they’ll review in the summer’. I’ve especially not seen anything in newspapers or bbc. None of the pundits on tv have said it either. Especially that he’s gone no matter what.

I think its the fact that any time we show the ruthless or winning mentality that everyone says we lack to be winners, it's twisted to be a negative story as in this case. A nicey nicey thing would be to let Brennan get his hattrick ahh lovely. But what transpired is that the best PK taker was given it so we had the best chance of getting the goal to secure victory. So it's just the whole doom and gloom moany shit that envelopes coverage of spurs and honestly most of our fanbase I think that's set him off

It is mentioned as one of many examples of positives being used to turn into points of division or negatives. He makes a very fair point once again. Negative angles on spurs related actions are common amongst the press, social media and fans right now.
