There is no second best. To be the optimal medium of exchange and unit of account, it's best to not have to convert between different moneys. And since network effects grow exponentially with the number of users, once a certain user threshold has been passed, any new monetary technology has to be significantly better than the dominant one to replace it.

Thank you for telling your story. Don't ever be afraid to. Because, there are some of us that will gladly step in and handle it in the moment. You shouldn't be the one living in fear, they are the ones that should be afraid of acting that way in public. They'll never stop unless someone stops them. He’s educated, but sometimes it feels like education doesn’t matter if you don’t know how to talk to people in public. Just look at what he’s saying to Preity Zinta on national TV. 🥀 it’s not really a matter of being mature or immature and it’s not a matter of being an adult or not being an adult either honestly everyone just has their own way of dealing with things 🥀 so when my friends or anyone else comes to me because they’re having a hard time and asks for advice, i rarely say things like “it’s nothing” or “it’s okay things will work out” 🥀 i don’t really say things like “hang in there, you can do it” either because when you’re really having a hard time i think you need to fully feel those emotions and really let yourself sink into them 🥀 i don’t know at least that’s how i see it because it’s not really something someone else can solve for you

I have to be nice to people, it’s just who I am. And here’s what I’ve found, every time in my career where being nice seemed like it cost me something, it actually helped me. Created a softer landing. Made the hard moments easier to get through. Be nice.
