Your wheel was misaligned and it wore one side of the tire through the tread to the point it leaks along the sidewall. Very fortunate that it didn’t blow out and cause a wreck.

There’s a segment of car culture that thinks the “stanced” look is cool and takes it even farther than this pic. That tire almost looks like it came off something with an extreme stance (tires riding on the edge of the tire).

It's a dumb thing street racers do where they stretch a too-small tire over a rim that's too wide for it. This makes the sidewall touch the pavement under cornering, which destroys it. I guess it looks cool or something...
