That’s my issue. Never seen a grand slam where they boo the winner. I believe it is because she beat a hometown player. Still if you gonna boo the winner, you can’t grab your pearls

She was competing against an Aussie The crowd was loud rude and obnoxious.

They heckled her during the match, she gave the same energy back to them and they didn't like it.

I’m an Aussie and I was so embarrassed..the crowd was disgusting.

Reminds me of Serena at Indian Wells 2001 except that was 10 times worse.

She lost in the Finals 3 years ago to a different Australian player, so this was 3 years in the making when she finally beat a crowd favorite in Australia
