This PSPO has applied across the whole borough since 2022, under the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014. Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Hounslow and Havering all have the same order. It applies to everyone, of any faith or none. Nothing to do with Sharia law. A community working together to calm a situation, clipped and recaptioned to manufacture outrage.
