"I don't have a GPU" is officially dead. VS Code now connects directly to Google Colab. → You get a free T4 GPU inside your editor. → Your local files. Their compute.

And that’s the problem. It’s “their compute” anything that goes against their TOS or is some type of improvement they’ll implement into their products. If you don’t own the compute then you don’t own your product.

"Our local files"

and soon your entire pc will be in the cloud because nobody will be able to afford to build.

→ Their compute. People happily putting on a collar and a leash like it's 2000s emo subculture all over the place again.

You can do things with it, just that once you run out of the free tier there's no defined timing on when you gon get the credits back

Fuck that. I want my GPU local.

"if it's free..."

Their compute == their files

but vs code is dead

Yeah, I'm currently learning the Practical Deep Learning course by and using Google Colab for it.

Never had to configure a GPU, and it just worked.

slippery slope to owning nothing

Your local files ❌ Your + Google's local files ✅

This is a game changer for indie devs and students! Free GPU compute + local workflow = no more switching tabs between notebooks. The future of development is here! 🚀

buy a gpu

sucks to be t4

I have a GPU though

Free? Don't you have to pay for a plan to use Colab?

You need to upload all your data first 🤦♂️

This is great for AI startups. I’m planning to build my own AI soon, and I just started learning python. I have a 3070 in my laptop, and I’m not saying it’s bad but this will definitely open new doors for me. But usually AI startups fail so… hopefully mine doesn’t.

guess the new excuse is “colab disconnected again”

available in antigravity as well, on vs marketplace. Thanks for reminder!

F that! You should be using Neovim and Linux (There is no cloud, it’s just someone else’s computer)

And your data is compromised.

Very good for learning and demos. For long running training or reproducibility, you still need managed infra, but this is an excellent bridge.

Ohh Greattt🔥

The power of innovation, the AI era will bring massive advances and smart apps that self sustain their ecosystems and optimize on the move.

DeepMCPAgent as a plug-n-play framework for building MCP agents is exactly what the ecosystem needs - dynamic tool discovery over LangChain/LangGraph abstracts away the complexity of agent orchestration. the fact you can bring your own model + quickly build production-ready agents lowers the barrier for custom agent deployment. MCP standardization is key to agent interoperability

"I don't have a GPU" is officially dead. "I have no money left in my bank account" officially live.

This is actually huge. Local dev experience + free cloud GPU is a game changer.

Free GPU 😂
